We stayed at the Park over the Bank Holiday weekend (Fri-Mon). We had an incredibly peaceful time albeit was disturbed on the last night as a young couple in a neighbouring lodge hot tub presumably didn't realise how loud their music was...! We were very impressed with the lodge we stayed in - no.26 'Mood Dreams'. 2 en suite bedrooms (one with a massive superking!) with hot tub and even a wine fridge! It was very clean and well equipped. We did a couple of local walks but also visited lots of lovely villages (& pubs!) and the historic towns of Stamford and Oakham. Our first time staying in this part of the country and we were very impressed. Need to come back to visit some of the many historic houses in the area πŸ™‚

Booked as a last minute break for 3 adults and 5 children. Absolutely fabulous decision! Rockingham forest park was perfect for our 4 day trip, at a very reasonable price. |The lodge was beautifully prepared. Super fresh linen and bathrobes for the hot tub. Well equipped kitchen and lovely clean bathrooms. |The nature walks from the lodge were fantastic. Lots of distance options for smaller legs and a well maintained play park to entice them to finish. |The park walks linked seamlessly with local nature reserve walks and public bridleways so if you needed to extend your walking (or in our case running) routes it was easily done. |The hot tub was well maintained with visible checks being made twice a day for water quality and cleanliness. Perhaps a small suggestion to supply a squeegee for the decking and a bath mat for the inside of the patio doors, (we took one from a bathroom). |All in all we had a fabulous break and would thoroughly recommend to others.

Area is great, it's really quiet and peaceful and we liked the walks from the site. Site is very well maintained and huge!|Lodge was comfortable, although they aren't spaced out too well. Outdoor decking was overlooked by several lodges and right on the bend in the road where cars & people pass back and forth so we didn't sit out there. Beds were great, we slept well and the showers were hot, these are both deal breakers for us! We had to call the out of hours chaps in relation to a water issue under our lodge, they attended and fixed the leak within the hour and were very polite.||What we felt let down by was the poor cleanliness of the lodge, smears on glass, mirrors, cupboards and tiles, rubbish in the bathroom bin on arrival, dust on surfaces and blinds, greasy marks on kitchen units, dirty cutlery, bowls and filthy chopping board. Freezer had something spilt in it, looked like ice cream. Bath panel hanging off. Missing tea towel and cleaning pack which I would have brought if the welcome pack hadn’t said it was supplied. This was subsquently supplied after emailing reception enquiring about it.||I didn’t bring the cleanliness to anyone's attention purely because Landal have handed the lodge over in this state which is seemingly acceptable to them and a reflection of their standards. I should not need to bring this to the attention of a company. We stay in self catering so as not to be disturbed - on arrival you just want to get settled and relax. The QR for appliance instructions on the TV guide was not for appliances in our lodge. ||Pleased and thankful no deposit was taken as mentioned in our paperwork and prior to us being able to see the condition of the lodge.

We had a great five day stay. The lodge was very hot for the first two days due to the heatwave. Fans are supplied which helped somewhat. Our lodge was in a peaceful location overlooking fields and the woods at the side. Saw the deers, hares and squirrels in the woods from our lodge. Our 3 bed lodge was spacious and comfortable. Nice thick soft towels. Beds really comfortable. Hand wash, body wash supplied as well as milk, teabags and coffee. The hot tub got used every day and it was nice to sit out on the decking in the evening. Lots of walks to take our dog on the site and coming across lakes and more woods and wildlife. We enjoyed the food at the bistro on site, dog friendly inside and out. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Takeaway pizzas were good. It was the peaceful holiday we wanted. Definatly will return

We really enjoyed our stay here in the lodges at Rockingham Park. Our lodge felt well put together and all the provided amenities worked well. The hot tub was clean and covered from the elements, parking was good and the automated barriers worked well. Overall, it was a truly stress free escape well organised and our guest hamper was very generous with a bottle of wine and 2 bags of various coffee and tea bits. We also enjoyed a nice scenic walk around the park.

This is a beautiful park which is kept in immaculate condition. It was almost a mile and a half from the park gate to our lodge so you can see how huge the site is. It is quiet and secluded. The park was originally part of a US air force base during WW2 and we enjoyed visiting the Glen Miller memorial. There are some beautiful walks to nearby villages but I do recommend that you use an Ordnance Survey map as the paths outside the park are not always well marked. Our lodge was clean, modern and comfortable with excellent cooking facilities. Our small poodle loved the agility course in the dog park, although a few extra obstacles such as a tunnel, seesaw and more jumps would finish it off nicely.|Staff were always pleasant and helpful with any questions or maintenance issues being addressed very quickly.|We will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in the cottage! Hands down the best place me and my fiance have ever stayed!
Self check in, this made our stay that extra special making you feel like you really was in the middle of nowhere.
The staff are so welcoming and friendly.
The area is so peaceful and quiet. Plenty of walking routes, pubs, rivers/ponds/lakes. There is a command post on site which do food and cocktails. There is a museum on site. Doggy park and a kids park. They also have a communal bbq area perfect if you are coming as a big family and need the extra space. All lodges have there own car space. Plenty of wildlife to watch. We was having a cocktail at the command post watching RED KITES fly around playfully! Such stunning birds!
Highly recommended this place for family's, couples or even if you just want to stay away from the world this place is the spot.

What a lovely gem of a holiday park . The surroundings are so well kept and maintained, love the area of wildflowers between the lodges . Plenty of woodland walks to take within the safety of the park if you have children with you . The play area looked lovey and plenty of equipment for the younger family members. The off lead dog area is a brilliant idea and looked very secure. The lodge it’s self had everything you would need for a relaxing stay including a small welcome pack , Ritual products in the bathroom and a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave .
