Attended my first Webinar with Teachers Pension earlier this evening and I have to say it was so informative. No hard sell, very balanced information presented. We were given the option at the end to make an appointment for a follow up consultation and what topics we wanted to discuss- any regarding financial services. I've taken this offer up as I have so many questions now that are pertinent to me and I know I'm not going to get the `hard sell'. I was very pleased with all the information I received tonight.

The session I attended was very clearly explained. Some complex language and concepts were demystified and illustrations given of what this might look like in different situations. Timing was appropriate and there was no hard sell for any further services just an illustration of they might help in what can be a bewildering world.

I recently attended a online session about AVCs which was very informative and explained a lot that I didn't already know. It was at a convenient time and was in clear language with any technical words explained. I have also attended other sessions by the same organisation and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to become clearer about their pension or AVCs.

Largely informing me of stuff I already knew. Presenter was pretty good and informative and didn't feel that they were pushing the hard sell but understand that this was probably the purpose of the webinar. I may reach out for further information but initial consultancy cost of £175 looks pretty steep, but then again that may be the market rate

I needed a place to start looking into pensions, AVCs and retirement etc, and ended up attending a Teachers Financial Planning webinar. Ged offered a great overview of routes to take with your AVC, and highlighted many of the potential pitfalls. On the basis of this, I'll now certainly be seeking further advice from him and the other advisors.
