A timing chain slip led to a catastrophic engine failure of my golf gti I have owned for many years.
No garage would entertain having it recovered to them by the rac as it was too big a job.
I told Wayne at Pannal motors my dilemma and he said I will get you a date to fetch it to me and I will get her working again.
The car everyone told me was dead has been fixed and runs as new after many hours of expertise,

Very positive experience with this garage this week. Rang up on Monday with brake issues and they managed to fit me in the same day. Then brought our other car in for an MOT & service today and they were very honest that it didn't need a service doing given the low annual mileage, so saved a fair few quid there. Reasonably priced and very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Sam on the desk.

This is hands down the best garage I have had the good fortune to know. Yesterday was the third time they resolved an urgent unexpected car/van problem and got me back on the road the same day! I also would not go anywhere else for services and planned works - as they have been really responsive, timely, thorough, kept me fully informed and all at a great price! Such lovely staff, who bend over backwards to help, even when they are busy and the call for help is unexpected! Good fair prices and excellent workmanship. Cannot recommend highly enough- particular thanks to Sam and Wayne for coming to the rescue yesterday!!

A big thank you to the guys for helping me out with an engine oil light issue which cropped up on my long drive up to Harrogate. They were hugely accommodating and were able to look right away and check for any serious engine problems, diagnosed the issue, and got me back on the road with peace of mind for my drive back. They were very kind to only charge me for the top up on the oil. Thoroughly recommend.

Took my car for a simple oil change service. All completed no problems.

They also performed an engine oil flush as well as changing the oil which is nice.

I found it very convenient that I was able to leave the car on a Friday evening and they had completed the work on Saturday.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish , super efficient at diagnosing the issue, ordering the parts and booking the car in despite a Bank Holiday. The price was really good , all the staff friendly and courteous!
