We stayed on a Sunday £140 DB&B deal. |Amazing value!||The en-suite rooms are spacious & include hairdryer, fan, TV, bottled water, tea/coffee facilities. |Slightly dated decor, but not shabby. ||The dining room & bar area are nicely decorated & the outside terrace leads to a lovely public park area, just down the steps & across the garden. ||The food was of an excellent standard. Better than expected. Really great quality & presentation!||We've stayed before for a party & the function room is good too. The reception area & area leading to the function room & rooms is charming too. ||It's a 5 min walk to the centre of the village & riverside. |I epos definitely recommend staying here.

Great value, staff helpful. Our room must have been the smallest - I’m sure others must have been bigger with better views, ours could have done with a little decorating here and there, but was clean and everything worked.
Great choice for breakfast, evening meal was good. Lovely setting in a quiet road, backing onto a park and then the river.

Just back from a Dinner, B&B special at the Valley with my wife. We'd previously stayed over for a friend's birthday a year ago.
Great location in beautiful Ironbridge with ample parking and nice garden views from the terrace.
The restaurant is excellent, dinner was a great experience, lovely staff, great food and choice with both modern and traditional dishes.
If I'm being picky some of the tables are a bit close together so next time I'll specify where I want to sit when booking.
Breakfast is buffet style and once again the quality doesn't disappoint. Bacon and Sausages clearly sourced from a good butcher, plus the fried eggs had a runny yolk!
Rooms are clean but a bit old, so if you're looking for a 5* room the Valley isn't for you. But if you want great value, a nice bar and hidden gem of a restaurant, it's highly recommended.

We booked dinner at this hotel although we weren't staying there. When we got there the dining room was busy with a large group having dinner. As would be expected with corporate events, it was quite noisy. On arrival we were asked if we were OK to eat in the main restaurant or would we like somewhere a littler quieter. We chose the quiet option. Although we were away from the main dining area, we were still looked after very well. The food was excellent and the service was good and with a genuine smile. Although the hotel is a little outside the heart of Ironbridge (but only a 10 minute walk) its well worth a visit. There is plenty of secure on-site parking.

If you are planning a trip to Ironbridge you should definitely stay at the Best Western Valley Hotel.||We stayed for two nights and could not find fault with anything. Our room was super clean, as was the bathroom. It was just perfect in every way.||Breakfast was also very good, with a wide range of items available, from cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and a wide range of cooked items. Eggs of your choice could also be requested. The quality of the food was excellent. ||The staff at the BW Valley Hotel were all outstanding. They were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. ||All this makes a stay at the hotel a truly memorable experience. ||

The hotel is located in a Beautiful area however the afternoon tea was a big let down. The sandwiches were so slim and unevenly cut and the fillings were normal fillings nothing exciting or different as you get at other afternoon teas. There was Tuna, Cheese, Ham, Egg Mayonnaise in thin white and wholemeal bread. The bread was the cheap bread. There were 2 scones with clotted cream and jam, 2 chocolate and salted cameral swiss roll, 2 macaroons and 2 tarts. There was no tea selection just English tea or Coffee. The location is beautiful but it was not worth £42 for the two of us. I've paid a lot less with better quality sandwiches and desserts. For £42 should have sandwiches including cream cheese, salmon, chicken pieces, branston pickle with nice bread, the traditional sandwiches not cheap produce and definitely not worth the money at all, I would say it's worth £19 for the both of us nothing more then that as I have paid £22 for the pair of us at Park Hall hotel with variety of teas, and better sandwiches. I love afternoon teas and this was very basic, a big, big disappointment. Also there only certain days in the week when we booked it was Thursdays that they offer afternoon tea which you have to book a week before you want to go. It not worth the wait... With a week notice you expect they would put effort into the afternoon tea especially when charging luxury afternoon tea prices. |Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

2 night stay early July in a standard double room on a dinner b and b basis.
Plus points:
Great, friendly staff.
Building/rooms very clean and in good order.
Amazing food with an excellent selection (dinner and breakfast).
No air con in the room but there was a fan.
Perfect location. Short stroll along the river bank into Ironbridge
Negative points:
The mattress was well past its best and needed replacing

I would definitely stay again. Excellent value for money.

An excellent location for visiting the Iron Bridge and gorge atractions.|Room OK but a bit smaller than some. Got very warm as no air conditioning.|Good buffet breakfast but normal problem of food not always very hot.|Within walking distance of the Iron Bridge and various eating places.|Nice grounds and adjoins onto a nice public park going down to the river.|Ample free parking.|Small room for a twin. Room stuffy and no air conditioning.
