From our visit to the showroom/factory to the fitting today it was less than 3weeks. A fabulous new door and window, expertly fitted by John. We used this lovely family company back in 1996 and they are still as good.

Don't buy a door from this company! (unless you want it to go banana shaped in the sun).

When the door was first fitted it looked great but within a couple of years the composite door had warped, we had problems opening and closing the door and when it was closed we had problems locking and unlocking it, wind and rain would come through the gap at the bottom of the door because it had warped. After many phone calls, emails and photos send they agreed it was faulty and replaced it under the 10 year guarantee.

The same thing happened 2 or 3 years later, phone calls, emails, photos sent again. This time we had a site visit from their own surveyor to check it wasn't a fitting problem, he could find no other problem apart from the door must be faulty again. Door No.3 fitted, this time it was upgraded to a " Fire Door", this one won't warp he said!!!

How wrong he was! Door No.3 warped after around 4 years, with all the same problems as the first 2. By this time it was a few months over 10 years from the original door being fitted, when I reported this problem, I was told it was no longer under guarantee. They said they would be happy to give ma a quote for a new door.

There is more I could say but I will leave it there. This is a true and honest account of my experience with Force8.

I struggled for months to find an arched composite door and through Force 8 I found exactly what I wanted, the door is stunning & great quality, I’ve had so many lovely compliments! Force 8 recently made and fitted us a new door, the customer service was excellent, the door quality is amazing and it looks better than I could have imagined. The fitters were lovely and very quick. The whole process was quick, easy and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Awful customer service. We first noticed that one of the glass panes had damage on it and they said they would speak to the supplier but no glass has been delivered and its been nearly 2 months. Then once the units were installed and the protective film removed we found the poor workmanship which can be seen in the photos. We contacted them but they refused to accept any responsibility and said that because it wasn't reported in 48 hours they had no interest. We asked to speak to a manager but they weren't available and they haven't been available on the 3 times we have called and not one response to any of our emails. This is clearly poor workmanship in the manufacturing and needs to be replaced. We have spent over £2000 on the front door and this is not acceptable!

I ordered a door and a few windows for my first home. I also asked them whether they could deliver them by the time I was handled the keys. It turned out that they delivered and installed them tht day after so I could start decorating my house over the weekend. Good service, good quality and excellent finishing; only minor painting was needed. I would strongly recommend this company.
