We have just bought and sold a property where Bridgfords Hazel Grove were the agents on both transactions. We cannot recommend the team highly enough.

Ciara, Dale and Ellie went above and beyond for us in securing our desired property (which was not without complication) and selling our previous home (not only way above the price we had hoped for but, within a week of us signing the contract and before the professional photographs were taken).

The communication (including response times), enthusiasm, personality and professionalism was of the highest standard and demonstrated the importance of having the right team on your side.

We felt so confident with the service, we decided to use Katy (the branch’s in house mortgage adviser) as opposed to our regular mortgage broker and again we could not have been happier with the recommended product and Katy’s management of the process (we accepted a product that had never been recommended to us before and suits our circumstances perfectly).

We would recommend the whole team and Bridgfords without qualification and have already recommended them to others looking to buy or sell. Their service offered us great value for the fee.

Very happy to recommend Bridgfords in Hazel Grove. We spoke to three Agencies on the phone before inviting two round to discuss further. We were really disappointed with the first, they were unprepared and quite pushy, but felt completely at ease when Ciara came round, she explained the process and how they could help, no pressure, it was an easy choice. The whole team have been great throughout, particulary Regan, Abby and Ellie who I've dealt with most. Very friendly and supportive, good advice and worked well together. They frequently chased down updates from the other people in the chain so that we new what was going on. Thanks Ciara, and the whole team!

A dire experience with the attempt to purchase our first home through Bridgfords Hazel Grove. What should have been a moment of joy and excitement has turned into one of anguish and extreme stress.

We made an offer to the house seller at the asking price, which was accepted. However, the bank set to finance our mortgage valued the property £25,000 below the agreed amount. When we returned to the estate agency to report this, the problems began.

The agency started pressuring us to come to their office and sign up for their mortgage service, insisting it was the only way to communicate the down valuation to the seller. They demanded the house valuation report, despite knowing that banks, during the mortgage application process, do not provide a detailed valuation report. The only document provided by the bank to our mortgage advisor, containing the down valuation, was sent to Bridgfords consultants, who refused to accept it or forward it to the homeowner. We endured weeks of stress, feeling compelled to visit the estate agency to sign up for Bridgfords' services, even though we already had a mortgage advisor and conveyancer.

Yesterday, we were informed that unless we provide a detailed valuation report of the house, it will be returned to the market, and we will be withdrawn from the negotiation. Our mortgage advisor explained repeatedly that banks do not provide such reports. It's astonishing that an agency the size of Bridgfords is unaware of the mortgage application process.

Throughout the past week, we were coerced and blackmailed by Bridgfords, who continuously insisted they would only pass on the undervaluation if we visited their office.

In addition to these distressing and humiliating weeks, we will suffer financial losses because our conveyancer had already initiated the process.

Absolutely excellent experience dealing with Bridgfords, we were looked after by Brooke and Ellie they were fantastic, incredibly professional and both had very sunny demeanours - although we didn’t end up purchasing a property with them in the end we will be considering going straight to Bridgfords next time. I had a really good experience with the team at Hazel Grove. Every time I went in or spoke on the phone they were friendly and helpful. They kept me up to date through the process without my having to chase them, and even did plenty of chasing of the other side on my behalf when completion dates went awry. Brook was the lady I spent most of my time with, but everyone there was amazing. As a little side-note, I really felt like they were excited for me when I went to collect the keys. You'd think they'd get bored of seeing it happen all the time, but they genuinely feel like lovely people.
I used their in-house mortgage advisor Andy and honestly he really made the process a thousand times easier and less stressful than past moves I've been through. He really went above and beyond to help me and I'm very happy with the mortgage deal he got me as well.
Can't think of a single negative to say about any of it. They were all amazing and I'm incredibly grateful that they made everything so stress-free for me.
