Love this place its a walk that has different paths in the woods and takes you to the top of the hill. There's a waterfall and stream. If you do the whole lot you can be there about 2.5 hrs . I've been 3 times in 8 days I love it that much!! as I love proper woods and this is and it's not busy at all. Parking at the bottom of the rd which you can walk up . I highly recommend this ?

Gorgeous place to visit, not the easiest place to get to but definitely worth it. It was very muddy and we had to cross the stream a few times, so you definitely need wellies! We walked from Withnell nature reserve, from what we saw there looks like theres plenty of places to walk around here. There is a nice little cafe for takeaway tea and treats in the village too.

I asked a few locals about the waterfall and they advised it is best to see it after it has rained. The path was boggy in places and was not sign posted. As I had young kids was difficult to make it to the waterfall. You can walk up the road and see the waterfall area from the top but there is not much you can see from there.

Really nice walk for a couple of hours. We walked direct from Brinscall up Well Lane to the falls then headed towards White Coppice cricket ground which must be none of the most attractive cricket grounds anywhere
Bonus was a game was in progress. Nice to watch over a sandwich from the club kitchen
Apart from the climb up to the waterfall the walk was virtually all on the level

Lovely place to go! I would recommend going when it hasn’t been raining as the footpaths get very muddy, as well as this I found the foot paths to be a little confusing however we found some beautiful sights going off trail.
