The Big Sheep is a really fun family day out. Highlights include watching the sheep racing and betting on our favourite to win, the baby goat and lamb feeding sessions watching the labs shake their tails enthusiastically whilst being fed, bouncing around on the brightly coloured outdoor trampolines, taking the little train ride and getting to see all of the animals in the livestock area.

+ A roller coaster, a Twister, Swan Lake Pedalos, shows with (naughty!) sheep, large jumping pillows, an indoor play area that rivals standalone indoor play areas, more sheep shows, a great shop and super enthusiastic staff.

And it all just works; we had a lot of fun and will definitely return. There's plenty of parking space but pre booking is recommended as it can get busy. It's a great day out for the whole family.

A good day out, the Sheep show was marvellous and quite funny. The attraction itself was busy and popular. Great to see the animals looking in such great condition. It felt overpriced for an adult to be honest, we took our 20 month old who had a lovely time but of course we couldn't access everything as we had her with us. The additional charge for all the little rides such as the tractors and digger ride etc was a little frustrating considering the cost to get in. Café was limited in it's offering but chips were tasty and a good sized portion. Glad we visited but probably won't return at that price point.

Great day out! We went on a Wednesday and had a brilliant time. We'd managed to time it well so that we saw the sheep show, the dog and duck show, and lamb feeding all within a few hours.

We had great weather, which certainly helped, but there was plenty to do for a family of 3 (my daughter is 2). The dog and duck show was really good, and the facilities were really clean considering the farm setting. There were rides, a roller coaster, and bouncy-castle-esque pillows for two different age groups.

The petting area was by far the best part. Cows, puppies, lambs, sheep, pigs, piglets, goats, and even chickens and ducks are all there to feed. I think we may have struggled to fill the whole day with activities if the weather wasn't as good but still would've been good for a couple of hours.

The cafe was cute, the food was good (if a little dear) and the staff were lovely.

Highly recommend as a day out and the gift shop cleared my wallet. No regrets.

Great place. The kids loved it. Lots of shows throughout the day which were amusing and well performed. They have a roller coaster, spinning swings, bouncing pillows and more outside. Beautiful settings. Loved the sheep racing. There is an animal house, train and other stuff to do inside and offer a free return ticket, valid for 7 days, if the weather closes the outside attraction available upon request at the service desk.

Lovely little place I would say more for younger children my eldest (13) was pretty board only enjoyed the roller coaster my 2 youngest (1 & 9) loved it, they really enjoyed the animals and loved bottle feeding the lambs and we brought animal feed to feed the other goats and lambs, they all enjoyed the play zone didn't eat there as thought it seemed expensive but McDonald's was only 10 mins down the road! Friendly staff, not the biggest spent about 3 hours there watched the animal shows they were good, think it's expensive for entry considering the size of the place but we all had fun ☺

Brilliant place to take the children, probably up to age 12. Great sheep show and duck herding. Plenty to do all day. Lamb feeding with bottled milk. Sheep, goat and alpaca feeding in the barn. Staff hosting the shows are knowledgeable and funny. Great day out for the family.

Excellent day out with my Niece & Nephew. Plenty to do and nicely varied. Despite it being the summer holiday and the car park filling up, nothing seemed overly crowded or busy. The longest queue was for the pedalos, everything else was pretty much walk on.
The live shows and activities were great as well.
Available on clubcard deals too to make it a good value day out.
Would definitely recommend!!
