Excellent! First and foremost I want to say this free. Totally free, no tips no charge, in fact you are strictly reminded you cannot offer money for this service. This then means that the people running this are passionate about what they do and this shows. Meeting outside the pump room each tour is divided between a handful of guides so numbers are kept comparatively small. Additionally each guide has their own route and expertise. I have done many of these tours and they are all unique. No two tours are the same. This is excellent and means a great diversity of learning and results in no two tours being the same. The tours are about 2 hours in length and cover a lot of distance but the walk is always leisurely. All of the key areas you would expect to be covered by the tour are. And every time as the tour returns to where it started you always leave with a new perspective on the City.

Fabulous tour and amazing that the Mayor is providing these for free. Was able to see all the major highlights of Bath and work out which ones I wanted to go back to for a further look. Corrine was super lovely and clearly knew her things about Bath. More cities and towns should provide these kinds of services.

An excellent way to get to know Bath. Guides are very professional and the walks are free, not "tip based free". They divide participants into smaller groups so you don't have to be worried about the crowd.
