If you’re looking for wedding car hire then you need to book with London Black Cabs!

Gary was extremely helpful and made arranging transport for our big day very easy.

Our taxi was stunning, extremely clean, and had a gorgeous white bow on. Dave our driver was amazing, was there nearly 30minutes before our booked time (made me feel very calm) and took us on a lovely scenic route. My Dad forgot his father of the bride speech and Dave made this possibly stressful situation easy with a stop at the hotel before so he could get his spare. We even had time to relax down a side road before it was time to drive down.

Gary was an absolute star on our wedding day! Bringing the bride and bridal party to the chapel, with a no nonsense attitude to anyone that got in the way of delivering us safely- and then taking us to some lovely photography spots as a newly married couple. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a wedding car.

I couldn’t recommend London Black Cab Transfers more. We had two black cabs that took us to our wedding in Marylebone Town Hall. They were immaculate, had beautiful ribbons, on time and so accommodating! We also had two elderly guests who the drivers were so kind with. I’d book them again in a heartbeat!

My wife booked a cab with Gary for our wedding day last month. We were driven by Jamie on the day and have nothing but positive things to say about him - he was great.

The low review is due to Gary‘s business practices, which are not adequately reflected in the other reviews and left my wife feeling upset and stressed.

We booked several months in advance and were quoted a flat fee to travel between two locations in London. The week before the wedding, my wife messaged Gary to confirm and flag that we intended to make a short stop enroute to take some pictures. At this point, Gary informed my wife that we would incur an additional fee of £75 if the trip took more than an hour. On the day itself, we rushed our photos (setting a timer for 15 mins) but due to protests in central London our journey ended up being slightly more than hour and we were forced to pay the additional £75, bringing the total to close to £300 for a trip between two Zone 1 locations, which is absurd.

We booked through Gary to have a stress-journey on our wedding day, but it ended up being the opposite and is the only part of our wedding day which we regret.

EDIT:
Gary's response below suggests that the written contract outlined that the price agreed was for a one-hour allocation. That is incorrect, and it is disappointing that this is now being suggested. Screenshots of the contract and Gary's quote attached.

This team of drivers is amazing!!! I have been here for two weeks with my teen son and elderly parents. My parents are mobility impaired, and we realized quickly that the Tube was not going to work for us. We contacted London Black Cab Transfers and they transported us to and from the City from our VRBO in East London nearly every day. All the drivers were kind, helpful, and lovely folks! Thank you to Gary, Matt, Roger, Wes, and Mik— you made our trip so much easier and enjoyable!!

I booked his taxi to the airport online and had an ominous feeling that it might go wrong. My feeling was right. He didn’t turn up. I phoned the number on the website but it didn’t work which put me in a panic mood thinking it was a scam. Finally found his number on the receipt I got for my booking and he said he missed this booking. I had to rush to call an uber in the end. Fortunately we didn’t miss our flight but I didn’t like the experience at all.

Gary was superb and added to the magical occasion of Vanessa and Hugo’s wedding. On time, friendly and helpful. The black cab also looked superb both externally and internally. He also took some great pics and video in a nice low key way. We could not recommend him more highly
