We have been booking holidays with Putney travel for over 10 years and have loved every one. We hadn’t really used travel agencies before, but Charlie at PT has always been full of ideas and suggestions, done all the research for us and has been on top of every detail so we felt totally looked after. He’s sent us to loads of places including Costa rica, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Guatemala and Belize, Italy, Greece and Austria. He has great contacts, knows all the best places, how to get around, where to stay and fun activities while you’re away. Many of our friends and family have booked with Putney Travel too, often multiple times. I highly recommend this personal, responsive, creative, reliable and friendly business. From my first conversation with Charlie I felt that he 'got' what we were looking for and I wasn't wrong. The itinerary he put together for our trip to Japan was absolutely perfect and the detailed information pack provided beforehand meant that everything went smoothly and we were able to make the most of our time while we were away.
We don't often use travel agents but I won't hesitate to call Charlie when we're planning our next trip. Highly recommended!

Just back from another brilliant holiday organised through Putney Travel, this time to Granada and St Lucia. I find PT particularly good when I am not quite sure what sort of holiday to book - in this case I had a time period and budget but wasn't sure of where to go/what to do to meet my and my travelling companion's different priorities. Charlie's expertise and advice was invaluable, and he built a terrific holiday for us; the best ever?

Fantastic travel experience, Putney travel is able to find us spots and venues we would have never been able to identify ourselves. The experiences they are able to organize are beyond any normal holiday - 1:1 customized to our needs, opening up completely new horizons and enabling connections with local rural communities in South East Asia for example which cannot be achieved with any other tour operator or organization. I would highly recommend Putney Travel, they're the best!
