A beautiful house on a spectacular plot in Rock. Very comfortable and well
appointed, with a great bedroom layout and open plan kitchen. Access into Rock on foot is brilliant. Plenty of space for lots of guests, children and babies. Katie was a great host, very attentive and made our week very special.

I had the pleasure of staying at Tomhara last year and it did nothing but exceed expectations. The views across the water are gorgeous and the house is perfect to enjoy them as well as all the local area has to offer. The house itself as well kitted out with all you could want and is great for cooking up a storm, enjoying a BBQ outside or simply a beer on the balcony. Being a stones throw away from the beach is the cherry on top of the already wonderful sundae. Would highly recommend to anyone

In April we were lucky to enjoy another lovely holiday at Tomhara. As a family we have been visiting Rock for the past 15 years and during this time we have stayed in many lovely houses.

So why, when we are planning a stay in Rock, is the first thing we do to check the availability at Tomhara?

Quite simply it is a beautiful holiday home - large enough to accommodate one or two families and equipped for all four seasons and any type of weather that Cornwall can provide. In April we sunbathed on the veranda with an amazing view of the Camel estuary, BBQ'd in the garden and had a log fire in the sitting room - all on the same day!

The location is fantastic, 50m from the water yet secluded. The gardens are very well kept. Inside the fixtures and fittings, decor, linen and kitchen equipment are all first rate and it's dog friendly - a true home from home.

Katie the owner is very organised and a pleasure to deal with. You can see she continues to invest in the property.

If you like Rock then book a stay at Tomhara, you will not be disappointed.

Just perfect! Lucky enough to spend a week staying at Tomhara with some friends. The house itself is wonderful - bedrooms are fab and the large kitchen and balcony look out onto the estuary which is just gorgeous (see pic). Thanks so much to the fabulous host Katie! Hopefully we will be back soon!

We had the pleasure of staying at Tomhara last January. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and had a magical time. Wonderful beach walks, trip to Prawn on the Lawn in Padstow a real highlight and gourmet dinners in with roaring fire and amazing local produce. The house is spectacular, very well maintained and cared for, stunning views and only a short walk from the beach. A big thank you Katie for all your advice and help. Very much appreciated. Highly recommend. Looking forward to booking again this year.

I recently stayed at Tomhara with a group of friends. The house was immaculate and beautifully laid out with all mod cons. With stunning views over the estuary it was perfectly located, just a few steps down to the beach. It was very well equipped with everything that you would need to cook dinner and there was a lovely cosy sitting area with a log fire for the evenings in case you tired of the beach views! The knowledgeable host was extremely helpful and was able to provide lots of local information which was useful to have prior to our visit. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Tomhara this year and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a coastal escape! The house met all our needs, and we created many fond memories while sitting on the balcony—enjoying dinners, playing cards, and marveling at the breathtaking view. Its excellent location offers close proximity to the ferry, walking trails, beaches, sailing club, golf course, and the local pub.

Ideally located a stones throw from the beach with a stunning view across the estuary, Tomhara is a gorgeous place to stay with plenty of room for big groups. The house is beautifully furnished inside and Katie was very attentive to our needs! We loved walking to Polzeath, surfing, taking the ferry to Padstow, going to the Mariners for an evening and having BBQs in the garden! Thank you Katie for letting us have a brilliant holiday!
