First time I have been to Warner run Hotel. I found everything to be well organised (it's a cashless venue) and the Staff to be very polite and helpful; particularly the entertainment and leisure team. Some of the House and room decor needs updating but the grounds are amazing. There was a good selection of food and plenty of it at both breakfast and dinner. If you make use of the leisure facilities then I think the whole package offers good value for money. I would definitely recommend a Warner Hotel holiday.

The lovely staff at Holme Lacy make visiting here a real treat. Kate has just served us afternoon tea and nothing was too much trouble, she made us feel so welcome. The choice of sandwiches and sweet treats were wonderful and thank you to the staff that made them all, it was delicious and plenty to go around. Jack, Millie and the team always look after guests needs so well, even once had afternoon tea in our room on the patio. We booked the afternoon tea for arrival at 1pm this time as the room was not ready until 3pm. Lisa the lady that does the quizzes is wonderful, again so friendly and always remembers you when you return. She captures the mood of the room so well and makes guests laugh and smile. We went to the name that tune and general knowledge quiz too. Entertainment is top notch and booking a table in advance I would recommend to secure a nice spot to watch the band. The grounds are beautifully kept and a real treat to walk around. The Spa is small and would advise booking before arrival as they get booked up very quickly. Jen and the Therapists do a fab job. Rooms are lovely if you want a room with patio would highly recommend.Historic rooms are stunning too. Cheri, Ollie and the reception team are absolutely fantastic and will exceed your expectations , just ask and they will do everting they can to help.

Whilst we are very regular Warner guests eg 5/6 a year this was our first visit to Holme lacy and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our Patio room was fine and adequate. The grounds of the hotel are outstanding and very well maintained. The staff were faultless, very polite and helpful. The food was good and it was our first experience of the new format ie no waiter service (except drinks) and you help your self buffet style. (some people were moaning about it but it suited us perfectly).|The entertainment during our stay was fantastic with a special mention of the Barricade Boys who were brilliant. There is plenty to do and if like us you visit NT locations then there are several good ones within 30 min drive. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just experienced a wonderful weekend stay at Holme Lacy. Went with parents and my Mum is a wheelchair user. Attentive lady on reception booked us in quickly and efficiently. We were given our room cards quite quickly and went to check ✔️ out our rooms. Parents were in room 205, a huge historic suite with all the extras that go with staying in a historic suite. Plenty of room to push a wheelchair around and with a shower, not a bath! I stayed in a historic room too, 201. A lot smaller and very nice with a shower too. No bath. I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchair users as the gap between the bed and the drawers is very narrow. The room had all the tea, coffee drinks crispy and biscuits. Also there is a hairdryer, templa bathroom products, a fan and two towelling robes! |We really enjoyed the food in the Market Kitchen because we like to serve ourselves from a buffet. Very attentive chefs on hand to help with food choices and give information about the food on offer. We were very lucky to meet Coral on our 1st night who always greeted us with a smile and a chat. She was also happy to get us whatever we needed, no matter how unusual! Very much appreciated Coral and thank you.|We visited Hereford Cathedral and and Ralph Court Gardens, both worth a visit if you're coming this way!|Hopefully I'll be coming for a longer next summer and I'd like to try out some of the activities Holme Lacy has to offer. We really had a great time and are looking forward to coming back!||Bye for now and thank you.

Good accommodation and lovely grounds, although all the lovely roses and other flowers are swept away and only a few flowers left in box hedging. Food quality and variety has been going downhill for years sadly but breakfasts still very varied and good. Staff always helpful and good. Constant repetitive piped music in restaurant which drove us mad!

We stayed here 7-14th July.. we had just the best time, grounds are stunning and well worth walking round, staff we found were all very friendly and the food was tasty, well presented and plentiful, our room had the sun most days but found having the fan on when we were in it, day and night worked fine. Room was replenished regularly. The entertainment team are excellent, they put on some fabulous shows and evening fun.. we will definitely return!!

Just back from a four day break at Holme Lacey. We’ve visited many Warner hotels, including Holme Lacey, in the past and always been impressed. However, this time we were disappointed. We chose Brasserie32 for our meals but, unfortunately, it didn’t meet the standards we have become used to. The menu was the same every night, apart from the soup and meat for the roast. Prawn cocktail was served in a ‘knickerbocker glory glass’ have you ever tried to get to the bottom with a knife and fork? Tried it twice, the second night is was so watery didn’t want to get to the bottom! Food was often cold and inconsistent in the size of portions. When complaining to the waitress we were told she would let the chef know. One morning the toast was nothing more than warm bread! We tried twice to change to change to Market Kitchen and were lucky on the last evening only at 8pm, it was better. On a more positive note, staff were polite. The entertainment team involved in daytime activities went over and above to get everyone involved, particularly, Lisa, Jack and Dan.
