24 years ago we held our wedding reception on the Mississippi River Boat. We returned this August with friends under different circumstances. We were celebrating my Dad's birthday who had passed a year ago by doing something he would have loved. The boat trip is exceptionally good value for money and is so good for the soul. Just being on the water enjoying the scenery. The crew were amazing and even let us take the helm (again something Dad would have loved as many years ago he did the hydraulics for the boat). The skipper didn't know what the circumstances were that took us on that boat trip on that particular evening but he was so kind and made the trip that much more enjoyable. Just shows kindness goes a long way as you don't know what people are going through. Back to the boat, we have such amazing memories of our wedding reception and this last voyage didn't disappoint. The jazz band were even the same guys!

The boat ? looked historic, and the trip was fun just to top it all off. The captain was well-spoken, knowledgeable, and comedic beyond words. My friends and I enjoyed him as much as we did the Broads! Well, worth a visit + if you're keen, on the return leg, he allows you to steer the boat all by yourself!

We had a brilliant sunset date night cruise on the Southern Comfort. Great value for money on tickets and at the onboard bar! The commentary and nature spotting by the pilot were fantastic and the rest of the crew were top notch.

Went today 23/7/24 absolutely stunning Value for money. Superb trip, Captain/voice over man haha, funny informative. Staff were lovely . Going again for sure. CASH ONLY REMEMBER

This was a very fun trip. It was an hour and a half long, the first half featuring very insightful and entertaining commentary from the captain. This was genuinely fascinating. There was a lot to see along the trip, including some massive houses, wildlife, churches and other boats. On my trip, we saw one of the 2 surviving Norfolk trading wherries which was very cool.

The boat had 2 levels. The lower level had comfortable seating and a bar while the upper level had an open-air section and a covered section. The upstairs seating was not the most comfortable (it was pretty much the type of plastic chair you might sit on in primary school) but this didn't spoil my enjoyment too much.

I didn't order from the bar but another person in my party did and said that the staff member at the bar was very friendly and helpful and the coffee she ordered was nice and well-priced. However, it was cash-only.

A very good hour and a half taking in the scenery and wildlife as the Mississippi River Boat made its way down the broads, with the skipper giving an excellent running commentary as we passed points of interest.
I managed to get a seat on the open top deck and it was an excellent spot to view from.
The cash only bar onboard was a bonus and it was well stocked and competitively priced.
I'd definitely recommend it and go on another trip next time I'm in the area.

Such a fun trip !! Our captain & guide was fantastic! So funny !! Very knowledgable and informative. I would defo do it again just to hear his patter! Brilliant!

Lovely boat, funny staff, relaxing cruise and some lovely houses and wildlife to see, staff very knowledgeable on the area and the houses etc, Lovely day out would definitely go again.
