We had a fabulous one hour excursion to The Sugar Boat. Our captain and Jessica were great hosts and shared local knowledge with us. Hot drinks and local tablet were served too.

A fantastic boat trip, we visited the sugar boat, the staff are friendly and hospitable, the guide was very knowledgeable and the trip was fantastic. It was such a great experience that I would highly recommend!

From coming on board to disembarking some three hours later, the Charter was perfect in every way.
We were a bunch of ten geriatrics out to view the 8M World Championship, we who had one it in 1970.
We set off in pouring rain, but not a problem "Jola too"'s aft deck is part covered, and if conditions worsened there is the cabin with room for all.
We were warmly welcomed, by the Skipper and his charming crew with hot drinks and tablet.
We got out in time to see the start, a magnificent sight, by this time the Southerly wind, has strengthened, and we ploughed our way over to the weather mark, anchoring some 150M from it, in the relative lea of the Greenock hills.
We were perfectly placed to see these magnificent yachts, beating their way, towards us, now definitely force 5, before easing their way round the mark , and setting spinnakers. most exciting.
The racing finished we decided it was time for the picnic, the crew were a great help opening bottles, providing glasses. and circulating same when filled.
We returned to Rhu, having achieved our aim, glad to have been on "Jola too" rather than an Eight. Thank you.
