Our tour with Isaac was fantastic! It was extremely informative and very impressive! Isaac explained the rich history in an objective yet educative manner. He included our children in the tour (which they loved), and was just an all around awesome tour guide! We highly recommend this tour, with or without families! A definite ‘must see’ if visiting the vibrant city of Belfast!!

Really glad we added the Black Taxi tour onto our Crumlin Road Gaol tickets. It was very interesting and taught me a lot about the troubles in Belfast. We saw some great murals, wrote on the peace wall and heard so many interesting yet harrowing stories of the troubles from our guide.

We had a guy called Danny who was absolutely amazing. Loved the way he would stop & get in the back with us to show us additional material so the “no holds barred” version. We were given so many opportunities to take photos, ask questions & we also wrote on the peace wall. Definitely recommend this tour.

There are so many Black Cab Tours to choose from but after extensive research, I chose this one and what a choice it was!
This tour is extensive, informative, fascinating and sad but amazing all at once.
John, our guide had an immense knowledge of the Troubles and gave a balanced view throughout.
We went to the Protestant & Catholic sides of the Shankill road and saw murals for both sides of the Sectarian divide. I had loads of questions and there was not one left unanswered.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Belfast and I can highly recommend this if you want to fill in the gaps of your knowledge about the Troubles.
Historically, problems go back many years in this beautiful city and we were left feeling sad that the past cannot remain there but have a full understanding as to why that cannot be the case after hearing about the struggles and the sacrifices made.
All round, an amazing not to be missed tour!

Taking a Black Taxi Tour in Belfast was one of the most memorable and emotionally stirring experiences of our travels in The North. Our driver Isaac was so friendly as well as being incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and honest. He shared first-hand stories and deep historical insight about The Troubles in a way that was both informative and profoundly moving.

Driving through the divided neighbourhoods, seeing the murals, and hearing about the personal impact of the conflict made everything so real. It’s hard not to feel sadness when faced with the pain and division that shaped this city, but it’s also eye-opening and crucial to understand the resilience and strength of the people here.

I left the tour feeling reflective, albeit heartbroken, but incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be educated about this. If you’re visiting Belfast, I highly recommend doing this tour (don’t worry, it’s VERY safe out here). This tour will give you a powerful perspective on the city’s past and present that you simply can’t get anywhere else.

We were met at Crumlin Road by Isaac who greeted us with a big smile. His easy going personality, huge knowledge and jokes kept us all entertained throughout the tour. He really is an asset to you.
