I highly recommend Glenn and team at R.A. Glass, Carrickfergus, as they are always professional, friendly and helpful. Glenn is an extremely talented and professional optician, who takes time to thoroughly test your eyes and explain your results and options. You always feel he has your best interests at heart and never tries to just sell, sell, sell which has been my experience elsewhere. They have the latest technology and conduct thorough checks of your eye health and can even spot other medical conditions, something me and my family have personal experience of and will be forever grateful to Glenn for!!! I cannot express how important regular eye tests by an experienced professional like Glenn are. My entire family now use R.A. Glass Carrickfergus and I think they are just fantastic!!! ❤️

I cannot recommend the service at R A Glass highly enough. I have had plenty of experience with the main chain providers and I have had many poor experiences poor products after a particularly bad customer service experience I returned to R A Glass after approx 30 years and I haven’t looked back. The difference is quality of product, choice and most importantly the excellent customer service from the receptionists to the opticians it’s second to none. My recent visit I received a particularly thorough eye examination including my contact lenses reviewed and a state of the art eye health scan which I found reassuring and at no cost as I am a member of a monthly plan. I am so confident in their service I bring my six year old there for his glasses and the way he has been dealt with is wonderful patience and understanding whilst providing a excellent products and regular repair or replacement I will not go anywhere else.

I can’t thank Glen enough. I had a routine eye exam and he done some scans to my eyes and noticed that my optical nerve was swollen. Glen then referred me to eye casualty who then did even more scans which resulted in me finding out that I had a benign brain tumour which was causing the optical nerve to being swollen but also the cause of the headaches I have been having for 3 years. If it had not been for Glen discovering the issue with my optical nerve I wouldn’t have known anything was wrong. I can’t recommend Glen and R.A Glass enough as the experience is always a positive one. I thank Glen for his help and am forever grateful as if the tumour had gone undiscovered anything could have happened.

I prefer rimless glasses but the practice didn’t have any. However the opticians order in a selection AND gave me a courtesy call to let me know I could come and look at them.
Staff are all so friendly and helpful. All up to date technology for eye tests.

Excellent Service and very professional staff. I have been a loyal customer of RA Glass my entire life and have enjoyed a very good life long service from them. The quality of their products in far superior to high street opticians and the range in offer is very modern, stylish and above all: affordable. Would highly recommend - I live in Coleraine now and still travel for my eye tests etc as I wouldn't want to change!
