A Hidden Gem for Families!

This farm is absolutely beautiful, set against a stunning backdrop that adds to the charm. It's exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a great variety of animals to see and interact with. The playground is thoughtfully designed, offering endless fun for children of all ages. There are plenty of picnic benches, making it perfect for a relaxed day out. Our visit was made even more special by the gorgeous sunshine — it really brought the whole place to life. Highly recommended for a family day trip!

We had a truly wonderful experience on our school trip to Hesketh Farm in Skipton! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for both children and adults alike.

The children were absolutely thrilled by the hands-on activities — from feeding the animals and holding the guinea pigs to riding on the tractor trailer and learning about life on the farm. Their excitement and curiosity were a joy to see, and it was clear they were learning while having fun.

The setting was beautiful, with stunning countryside views and well-kept facilities that made the day run smoothly. Even the adults found themselves immersed in the experience — petting animals, chatting with the farmers, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

It was a fantastic day full of smiles, laughter, and memorable moments. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

Amazing farm in a beautiful setting!
We are frequent visitors to Hesketh Farm and throughly enjoy ourselves every time, both kids and adults! The farm itself is set in such a beautiful setting, it is the perfect place to spend a day out.
Admission prices are really reasonable, it cost £24 for a family of 3 and you don't have to prebook.
There are many opportunities to have interactions with the animals to include lamb feeding, chicken handling, guinea pig stroking, plus so much more. There are so many play areas inside and out for the children and the outside is spectacular. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The cafe serves a great selection and high quality. Best sausage rolls ever! There are so many things that I have missed in this review, but I can't recommend it enough!

Took our grandbaby for his 2nd birthday as a last minute place as far to wet and windy for the original plan which was a trip to the zoo.To be fair wet miserable weather but it didn't stop any of us enjoying the farm,entry is cheap,cafe not to bad really,and we all loved the animals especially the baby pigs and chicks,outside the rain didn't stop kids going on the park and swings and go karts and there's a big sandbox and tractor ride areas indoors too.
Will return again on a sunny day so the grandson can have a trip around on the tractor trail,we really were pleasantly surprised it's a lovely farm with plenty to do.

Wow!! What an amazing farm and day out!! Super value for money!! The Staff could not have been any more helpful, all the free activities were fantastic like feeding the lambs and getting to hold the Guinea pigs and chicks. My daughters had the best day and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you again Hesketh farm xx

This place is a dream for children and petting all animals.The staff are the best and the surroundings are brilliant.Well thought out catered to everyone . A fantastic day out .Been again today 10th July 2025 . This place is heaven for children and adults too . So much to do and see . The piglets and Guinea pigs were the best . Will be back in the near future. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced for a great day out🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

A brilliant day out for both adults and kids. Plenty to do and see with regular activities like feeding the animals. Good food and drink options on site but the great thing is you can bring your own picnic. There is plenty of seating outside and inside under cover of the main building. The tractor ride is worth it for an extra £1.50. Overall great value for a day out

This place is great for children and families. The animals are well looked after, and the play area was really good and safe for young children. My only negative comment would be the price of entry. I took my 18 month year old grandson, and it was £12 to enter. Nice little cafe.
