Internal hallway doors have been greatly improved and all on a very soft close and so no longer have doors banging at all hours other than bedroom door potential and so it would be good if they could be upgraded as well. We were roadside but when the windows were closed they really did cut out the traffic noise. Thankfully other guests were considerate and so no issue with noise from them. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Comfy large beds. Bath very shallow which can make getting in and out a little difficult.

Travelodge does what it says on the tin. Bit out of the way but very well priced compared to better located hotels and Travelodges nearby so you take your choice. Clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff who were polite and helpful and the adjacent petrol station had a cold fridge stocked with beer and wine so no driving required.

Awful! Check in ok, not made to feel very welcome. Room basic, beds extremely uncomfortable, pillows poor quality. Not enough power sockets, none by the bed and the smallest kettle I’ve ever seen which also required a good clean. Bathroom old and filthy, hand soap dispenser beside sink empty. Hung request for ‘top up’ of tea, coffee etc plus towels out by 11am as requested. Cleaner in room exactly opposite at the same time and still the request was ignored. Had to visit reception at 8pm to do job myself and had to interrupt the male receptionist’s fag break at the front door in order to get attention. |No apology, just a bunch of items thrown into my hands. It is very clear that the team have given up and what’s worse, is the management have also given up! |Come on travelodge!! I have stayed with you many times over the years and never has my experience been so so bad. If you’re unwilling to invest in it, SHUT IT DOWN!!!

Fantastic little Travelodge when we needed an unexpected stay last minute late at night. Wonderful receptionist called Mario, extremely polite and warm after a long journey. Made a fuss of our baby and made us feel very welcome indeed. Room on the ground floor, very spacious and clean, comfortable bed and a good night's sleep was had. Checkout at 12. Very good price also. 👌

I've stayed at this Travelodge a number of times for work and have always found it clean & tidy. I once left my hoodie there and the staff very kindly retrieved it from the room and posted it to my home address! Very much appreciated that. If there was to be one complaint it would be the damp smell in the bathroom.

Similar style to one we stayed at in Nuneaton recently. ||Location is on the main A road. Noisy if you stay at the front road facing. Normally don’t hear the road but did in this one. Windows likely need replacing. ||Couldn’t see any CCTV covering car park as there are normally. ||Carpets throughout looked like need replacing and a bit of a smell in the room when came back later in day with windows closed. ||Room facilities such as location and number of plugs is lacking. No USB points. ||Bathroom door needs replacing as door expanded likely from steam and wouldn’t shut. ||Plus side. Cheaper hotel like due to the above. Back of hotel could hear the road. ||Nice lovely staff (Nikki) who helped us move room on arrival and hearing the noise as booked multiple nights. Also sorted lack of towels etc with a smile and friendliness. ||Get what you pay for.

This is my second stay at this Travelodge, Emma, Rachel and especially Lydia went above and beyond to look after me on my first stay in early March, I cannot praise their customer service skills highly enough.
I'm back on business and Mario was welcoming and courteous. The rooms are immaculate, whilst I require overnight stays in this part of the East Ridings, I cannot recommend highly enough and it's all down to the fabulous staff. Many thanks, Martyn
