Humboldt Travel were very efficient and responsive. We had a couple of minor hiccups when travelling and Simon responded extremely promptly and quickly sorted the issues we had out despite being on the other side of the world. I just returned for an amazing trip to Brazil made possible by Humboldt Travel. I have traveled extensively and used many Travel companies, and this one is the best. From the time of booking to the day I got home, they were on top of everything. I had some flight cancellations, and they took care of it. I wanted to change a time of a pick-up and they got it arranged. I am a solo female traveler so a good tour company is a must. In the past 18 months we have travelled twice with Humboldt to both Colombia and Jordan. The trips were excellent. Of course you can use Audley or similar, but why would you? With Humboldt you will get the personal service of the owners and their attention to detail. Simon has been to many of their locations and that knowledge is invaluable. I have no hesitation in a 5 star rating.
