Facilities are good and modern, and clean. Staff are excellent. Lots of space to eat nice food and have a drink.
Nice walk along the Marina with viewing docked boats 🚢. Walk along to Portland Castle 🏰 with lots of Portland History along the way. The views are stunning on clear day with passing the helipad.

Aaaaahhhh, so although this is a Boatfolk managed Marina, Google doesn’t appear to have caught up and my original review popped up somewhere on the Hamble river. Our trip was most definitely to PORTLAND MARINA - please see the review below.

A short two night visit in August ‘23. Out past The Needles and along the Jurassic Coast remembering to call to check that the firing ranges were closed. Then into a huge deep water harbour (VHF ch 74 if you want to use the East entrance) and an easy to find entrance into the marina.

The Boatfolk Portland Marina team were so very welcoming. Clean and modern facilities and large easy berths to come alongside. No question was too difficult for the guys at the desk and a wealth of local knowledge, both marine and shoreside, was instantly available.

To be highly recommended.

(Just a last edit - I should point out that although the facilities are indeed top notch they are a quarter of a mile walk from the visitor berths… At least it kept my step numbers up. But there were times when I wished they had been closer).
