Here for the day and from the car park I noticed the locks been opened, so I took a video (never seen one in use) this boat passes by and the guy shouts "the barge museum is open when I get there" .. so we went and it's really amazing, and a unique collection of canal/lock/boat life, and probably more!
Please speak to the staff there, they are very wise and willing to talk to you!
Loads of photo's, and artifacts!
The barge is the last remaining of its kind and renovated into what it is today.
Worth a visit and worth a donation (if you can)
