Our room needed decorating, the windows cleaned, the wardrobe was so flimsy we thought it was going to collapse and it had no handle on one door, the bedding was stained and the very small T.V. had to be viewed from sitting on the side of the bed. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked and the toilet pan was wobbly and we had difficulty getting the shower switched on. No wi-fi throughout the hotel, iron in room or hairdryer and no biscuits on welcome tray. We did request decaffeinated coffee which was provided on the second day. Stairs were very steep. Unable to switch radiator off. Cleaner did not go in to the bathroom all week to clean or tidy.|Room was warm and bed was comfortable and it was lovely and quiet. Plenty of drawer space. Comfortable pillows. Plenty of towels. Staff were eager to please and could not do enough for you and they were all really friendly. Food was lovely and generous portions. Hotel just needs loads of money throwing at it to bring it up to standard.

Brilliant Surprise Upgrade!

We arrived and were instantly told we’d been upgraded—honestly, we didn’t think much of it since we’d only booked a £57 room.

Well… WOW! “You’ve now got a hot tub,” they said. We thought it was a joke. It wasn’t. The suite was amazing, complete with a huge, stunning corner jet bath.

Yes, the hotel is a bit older and the rooms aren’t perfect, but if you want to stay right on the beach with a proper, relaxing room—this is the place. Trust me, book one with the jet bath. It made our whole weekend!

Save your money,we never slept for 2 nights. Due to the people above us having a room party with other guests, we were promised a refund for one night, But never received it. This hotel lies to people about refunds THEY do NOT give you any refund,my option is stay clear, I have a brain tumor and need to sleep but it was impossible due to the guests above us, please don't bother because like us it absolutely made are holiday awful , I would definitely never recommend to anyone,this hotel needs looking into and worst of all THEY DONT CARE .

The hotel needs updating. However, the price reflects this. It's cheap. ||The room was clean. The bed and linen were clean and comfy. was comfy. Basic but ok||The Bar and restaurant were both shut due to no guests or staff. Location is great. ||Such potential ... It's all a bit sad really||

Very very disappointed with our stay and the attitude of Nicki the manager. We book this hotel many times a year as the location is really handy. Unfortunately, this time there was a function directly below our room. My hubby went downstairs three times to ask them to turn the music down and to ask what time they were finishing. Each time, with no help. We even asked to move room at 11pm to try and get some sleep but couldn't as the hotel was full. No manager to speak to when we checked out at 8am so was told to call the next day. I did this at 8.50am and asked for a call back. No call back so at 1.50 I called to speak to Nicki. She was not apologetic at all, it was just "Ok" and "right" and "if you want a refund go to booking.com not even a "I'm so sorry to hear this". |Loyal customers lost now.|Really really disappointed.

Lovely hotel with great staff. We arrived late Friday afternoon to be told our original hotel had water problems and no longer accommodate us. Nicola, on reception was wonderful and managed to sort out a room for us. We plan yo go back there for a longer stay! X

This hotel is situated right on the promenade. Past it's prime, like many other hotels, however it was clean, staff are friendly and professional.|The food was very nice. Furniture in the bedroom was quite old, but very clean and comfy bed and soft pillow.

On arriving by coach to find no porterage, location poor walking to town 1.4 miles no near bus service so if you have walking difficulties you are curtailed. Food limited evening menu I e choice of 2 starters 2 main and 1 desert or ice cream. Staff friendly and helpful. Would I stay there again No
