The Garda del sol in lake Garda was dated but nice. It’s location is perfect and overlooking the lake

Everything about the holiday was good. The value for money was excellent and we felt that the experience was better than we expected. The hotel was very good. The rooms were not large and perhaps lacked character but were very clean with a comfortable and had enormous bed. I asked for extra pillows and these were provided immediately. The food was again better than expected with a reasonable choice of well prepared food at every meal.
The organised trips were ideal for us as we visited places we hadn't before.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly Sam, our driver. He was first and foremost an excellent driver which made us comfortable as we were on the road a lot, but he was more than that. He was very funny and kept us well entertained. Had he not told us that the area was unfamiliar to him, we would not have guessed as he had ensured he was well informed. My wife had a mobility scooter and he was very helpful with this. Thank you Sam for making our holiday even better!

Having stayed at the Trecarn hotel a few years ago, I have to say it seemed a lot better now this time.
It's now been painted out and still retains the old features of this old hotel.
The staff are very helpful and we had a big tv 60inch +
Or drver was the best distance driver I've travelled with.
He kept to time and he was so professional in his job you had no worries at all. Brilliant Dave 👏 👏

Balmoral trip.
Disappointing, l think national holidays should state that this isnt a full tour of the house. Hotel in aberdeen was ok, although it had took in 5 coach trips at the same time, meaning that it was very crowded at meal times, thus it was like a school trip. Sme of the food was ok, and the staff were helpfull. Also the first night there was a singer on and that was very gd a nice treat. The coach journey was very long, not enough stops and the seats were hard and uncomfy. The driver well, were do l begin. Lets say he was a little "corse" telling inapropriate jokes. Which need l say u just should go there. He wasnt informative, no information given about areas. Not very good to rep your company. This was my first trip with national, lm unsure whether l would use them again.

Avoid! On 10 May, I paid in full for an Emmerdale trip in June. Less than a week before the trip, I received a call to say it wasn't going ahead. The reason wasn't clear, but it wasn't lack of demand because the coach was nearly fully booked and Emmerdale's website showed it was still running tours. I was finally refunded on 12 July. No confirmation email, no offer of a reduction of another trip...poor.

Day 3 (Sunday) (*optional Excursion £15.00 per person *) was booked on the 9th May for 12 members of this group by telephone call total amount paid by me Elaine Barrett was £180.00 see attachment. The gentleman on the other end of the phone said the receipt would be sent to Florence Thompson-Hamilton to date she has not received the receipt or proof of booking/payment for the excursion

John the driver received nothing either I had to proof we had paid by going into my internet banking to show him the transaction.

I am sure you are aware that the coach broke down and we did not complete the excursion. We are therefore requesting a refund collectively
The group was looking forward to visiting Yarmouth which we were unable to do through no fault of our own

We were stranded on a broken down coach from 12.15 until 5:15 pm before we were taken back to our hotel by a mini bus
