Southern Crusader is a fantastic boat, lovingly cared for and well maintained by its enthusiastic syndicate. Before I bought shares in this boat I looked very carefully at all other options and decided that this was both the most rewarding and cost effective way to have the use of a large, comfortable and well specced boat.
The syndicate is democratically run and all owners have an equal say in the running and maintenance of their own boat.

Southern Crusader is a Birchwood 340AC, custom-built in 1999 and based at Brundall on the Norfolk Broads.

The boat has a high specification with a 240v generator for those important hair dryers and straightners when you are without shore power, flat screen tv/dvd, warm air heating system for year round cruising comfort and a brand new DAB/CD radio with MP3 player connectivity.

The boat is owned and managed by the Southern Crusader Owners' Syndicate. Ownership of the boat is split into 36 fixed weeks, each year, with 12 weeks being syndicate-owned and are available for use by existing owners. Four weeks are reserved for maintenance. The running costs are divided equally between the 36 weeks and is approximately £350.00 per week owned.
