Visited last weekend for a stag do (11 people). We tried sailing in the picos and later raft building and racing, and because we had some extra time we had the added bonus of doing the Leap Of Faith.

Communication before hand was excellent. Frankie put up with a lot of questions and changes to our group which was much appreciated. It was hard to know exactly what to expect. More videos of stags/hens on their Facebook page would help.

The day before our visit, there was the threat of the water activities being cancelled. There was always the chance of this happening and it cannot be controlled by them of course, but they tried to offer alternatives. In the end, the weather was not perfect but passible and we did the activities anyway (which I am extremely grateful for!)

Before I continue with the activities, I should mention that it is worth taking suncream, a change of undies or trunks and if you have them, watershoes but they do have some spare trainers that you can wear in the water. If you have a GoPro, I would recommend it! I have got some great footage. They provide drysuits and showers. You should take a picnic as there is nowhere to get food but they offered us juice, water, tea and coffee. There is a canopy and benches.

For the sailing, they towed 4 little 2 man boats out to a beach and then explained the basics before setting us off. This was quite physically challenging and tough for those who were still hungover from Friday night but once you got the knack of it, it was a lot of fun and relaxing. You are guarenteed to get wet as the boats will more than likely flip. We spent about 2.5 to 3 hours doing this.

After lunch we started the raft building. We were taught some basic knots and given a load of barrels, logs, rope and surf boards and a limited time to make a raft. We were then towed up the river and raced the other team. This was a lot of fun and gave a real competitive edge to the day. We finished about 5 pm so we had extra time.

After having showers Mick set up the Leap of Faith. This is a 30 foot vertical pole with a small platform at the top. You have to climb to the top and then jump to a metal swing about 3 feet away. Very scary and a nice way to finish off the afternoon.

Overall, a perfect day. Thanks guys!
