We booked a tour, and to say we enjoyed it would be... an understatement. Our guide, Em, was super sweet and knowledgeable, she even put up with my husband and I being the last in the shop after the tour buying a bunch of things. Her recommendation of the Scots Pine chocolate was great!

We booked The Tour of Chocolate for a private group of 12, mid-April, and can't recommend this experience enough.

The team were brilliant at helping answer questions and booking amidst the busy easter holidays, and managing our booking was super easy.

Our tour guide, Raffa, was super engaging with the kids, interacted with everybody in the group and made the experience super enjoyable. We tried some delicious chocolate and made our own bars, before moving to the tasting room and sampling all sorts of weird and wonderful flavoured chocolate. We ended the tour by browsing the shop and walking away with our favourite flavours.

All in all, if you're looking at booking this experience either by yourself, with a friend or in a large group, you won't be disappointed and I highly recommend you go ahead and book.

February 2025: Wow, what a great place to visit! We booked in for a 90 minute chocolate tour and it was amazing. The tour is very informative, fun and interactive and our tour guide Bogi was great! The tour included a chocolate making session which was amazing - I can't believe how many moulds and flavours there were to pick from. Throughout the tour there was loads of opportunities to taste and sample chocolate of all different strengths and flavours. I cannot recommend this tour enough and highly encourage anyone in the area looking for something different to do, to give it a try!

We had an amazing tour with Coco! My husband, 2 kids and I learned so much!! We made our own chocolate bar in the coolest Scottish themed molds! We got to choose between dark and milk chocolate then topped the bars with toppings, so fun! After we made the bar we went in to the tasting room and tried over 10 chocolates while learning more about chocolate percentages. I learned so much!! Thanks Coco and the Chocolatarium, we had a great time!

Excellent tour, tasting and chocolate making experience! Carina was amazing, funny, knowledgeable and made sure everyone in our small group was engaged. The experience is definitely value for money. You will really learn so much about chocolate and their tasting and in store selections are great.

This was our last activity before we left Edinburgh, and what a way to end it! My partner and I really enjoyed this experience and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Our guide was very engaging and brought fun to the experience. We got to make our chocolate bar (dark or milk chocolate) and then chose the toppings we want on it. While our chocolate bars were settling, we then got taken to the Tasting Room. We played a game where we had to guess the % of the dark chocolate we tried. We then tried LOADS of different chocolate samples on offer (I took full advantage).

Once the tour ended, we all were presented with a gigantic range of chocolate to purchase, and yes... we went a bit mad! I bought 4 bars (1 as a gift for my mother). My partner bought 3 (1 as a gift for her mother).

I couldn't recommend this experience enough. This is a must visit if you are in Edinburgh and a massive chocolate lover!

On a 3 day trip to Edinburgh we decided to schedule a chocolate tasting. Our guide Coco was absolutely wonderful, she was sweet, knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. We tried 10 plus chocolate treats including hot chocolate and a drink from when chocolate was first invented. Making chocolate bars was the best part. So fun and would love to come back and do it again!

We did the tour and it was wonderful! Hannah was a fountain of knowledge about all things chocolate, and she did a great job. Definitely worth doing the tour if you like chocolate, I got to taste some interesting, terrible, and delicious chocolate.
