I recently participated in the Belfast walking tour with Dave, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Dave is an exceptional guide with a deep knowledge of Belfast’s history, culture, and architecture, and he shares his insights with infectious enthusiasm. The tour, conducted in English, provided a comprehensive and engaging overview of the city's past and present.

Dave's storytelling skills are top-notch; he seamlessly wove together historical facts, local legends, and personal anecdotes, making the tour both educational and entertaining. We explored key landmarks such as the City Hall, the Cathedral Quarter, and the Titanic Quarter, with Dave providing detailed explanations and answering all our questions with patience and expertise.

One of the highlights of the tour was Dave's ability to bring the city's history to life. His passion for Belfast’s heritage was evident, and he made sure everyone in the group felt included and engaged. The pace of the tour was perfect, allowing us to absorb the sights and information without feeling rushed.

Additionally, it's worth noting that the tour company offers a Spanish version of the tour, making it accessible to a broader audience. This flexibility is a great plus for international visitors.

Overall, the Belfast walking tour with Dave was a fantastic experience. Whether you are a history buff, a culture enthusiast, or just looking to get to know the city better, this tour is highly recommended. Dave's expertise and passion make it a must-do when visiting Belfast.

Today we met Paul Moyna. He has his own business called “Belfast Walking Tours”. He was unbelievable!

At the last minute before leaving Belfast, we decided to try and get a black taxi tour. As it turned out, Cab Tours Belfast, which was fully booked, asked a favour from Paul to step in to help us out.

From the second we met Paul, he was friendly, cheeky, respectful, and he used “feckin” a lot. 🙂

He went into great detail about the Troubles including how members of his family had been deeply affected. He has a Catholic tradition, but he was extremely respectful of both sides of the conflict.

Further, he could speak ad nauseam about any subject on Irish history and tradition.

He went well over his allotted time of 90 minutes and we were enthralled.

Some Irish people would say they want to improve their country in their own way every day. Paul says it and he does it!

We would say that anyone who has any dealings with Paul Moyna will be all the better for it.

We did the walking tour focused on the history of the Troubles, led by the wonderful guide Larry; we were all so impressed by his knowledge, as well as his passionate desire to impart the history, richness, unique elements and character of Belfast. The knowledge learned ranged beyond just the last 50 years, as Larry provided context and brief but deeply informative summaries of key figures, events and places that transformed Belfast over the past 150 years, often interjecting insights based on personal experience, which enriched our appreciation and understanding. He was very articulate, witty, knowledgeable as well as responsive to all of our questions. We were introduced to sites and anecdotes that included historical facts, powerful anecdotes and numerous sites off the mainstream track. It was a marvelous experience that left us feeling so appreciative of Belfast's history and inspired by its resurgence from a troubled past.
