We booked a Taste and Tour experience in Belfast as part of our elopement welcome party, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip—and our guests’ trips too! We’re from the States and had a group of loved ones with us, many of whom are still raving about the tour weeks later.

Our guide, Ali, was absolutely fantastic—funny, kind, super knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He struck the perfect balance between entertaining and informative, and made sure everyone was having a great time. We especially appreciated getting to explore a handful of historic pubs while learning the fascinating stories behind them.

And the food? PHENOMENAL. The steak entrée was the best meal I had during our entire two-week stay in Ireland—no exaggeration.

I’ll admit we were initially a little worried about mixing drinks at each stop with the need for some guests to drive afterward, but the tour itself was so well-paced—with just the right amount of walking, eating, and drinking—that it all worked out perfectly. Everyone felt satisfied but never overindulged.

This tour was such a special and unique addition to our elopement itinerary, and I genuinely can’t recommend Taste and Tour enough. If we’re ever back in Belfast, we’ll definitely be booking another one!

Myself and my partner had a brilliant time on the food tour in Belfast. Our tour guide Rae (Rachel) was amazing, she was so knowledgeable and delivered the tour in a really engaging, humorous, and informative way. My partner has specific dietary requirements and he was catered to brilliantly and was still able to enjoy the tour as much as I did!
There was a wide variety of fabulous foods and drinks, and we met so many brilliant food vendors during the tour. The tour was very good value for money and I felt that we were able to sample a large quantity of food and drink for the price.

We really enjoyed our 5 Stop Brunch taste tour. What made it special was our guides knowledge of Belfast and the architectural significance of the buildings and artwork dotted around. There were 22 people in the group and it was fun chatting and getting to meet some locals and some interesting folk from USA. I was a tad disappointed with the food and drinks as was expecting the focus of the tour to be about the food but it was all very enjoyable and I would book another one.
A great way to spend a Sunday in Belfast and to learn new things!

Myself & my partner received the Cocktail Taste & Tour as a gift. We went on Saturday 19th July. If I’m honest I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. It was brilliant from start to finish. The guides were great. Dave led the tour & his knowledge was second to none & so interesting. Not boring scripted historical information but very off the cuff with humour & vast amounts of new information. He answered questions with a real depth of knowledge.
We went to an array of bars some of which I’m disappointed to say I never knew they existed. Rattlebag was by far my favourite. The cocktails were fabulous with one or two in particular that would put hairs on your chest. The tour is not for the faint hearted. It’s full on with lots of alcohol catering to everyone’s palette.
Great day all round & would definitely do it again. Worth every penny of the price tag. Thanks for a great day out with a great group of people.

Thank you Olivia for being a great guide for our Holywood Food Tour! You stayed upbeat and led the group with great enthusiasm, despite the entirely questionable Norn Iron rain. We have always enjoyed all our Taste & Tour adventures and this new tour was no different - full of tasty food, drinks and local stories and history. Thank you again!!

We were on the Food Tour on Saturday, such an enjoyable day, our guide Maeve was knowledgeable, entertaining and fun.
The visits were well thought out and very enjoyable, although we missed The Garrick having got ourselves separated, our fault.
Couple of things, Belfast Bap first then tell us to wait for tea, cutting up a steak at the MS is not easy but we seemed to have got the fatty sinew end.
Overall a really enjoyable day out.

Great tour that takes you around some of Belfast’s iconic pubs. Our. Guide Paul was a mine of information. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience with a great combination of straight and non straight whisky options.

My Mum and I had such a great time on the Belfast food tour. Rae, our guide, was fantastic, full of knowledge and made the whole experience fun, engaging, and really informative. We came away with some fascinating facts, not just about the food, but also about Belfast itself (despite having lived here all my life). We got to try a wide range of delicious dishes and drinks, and it was lovely meeting so many passionate local food vendors along the way. It felt like excellent value too, we got to sample a lot for what we paid
