Disappointed with Sharman Quinney Lettings (Albert Place Office)
I regret ever dealing with the renting department at Sharman Quinney, Albert Place. From day one, it’s been a nightmare. initially moved into a property that was in extremely poor condition—with a leaking roof, mould throughout, damaged flooring, and overall uninhabitable living standards. I was assured that necessary renovations would be completed, but no work was ever carried out.
After raising concerns, I was offered another property with the promise that it would be in proper, clean, and livable condition. Sadly, this second property was also not as described—unclean, unrenovated, and clearly not prepared for a new tenant. Despite these issues, I’m now being pursued for rent from the first tenancy, which I had to leave due to the condition of the home.
In my view, the process has felt more focused on collecting rent than providing quality housing or fair treatment to tenants. I genuinely regret my experience with this agency and hope others proceed with caution.

Very happy with the service from Michael. Initial sale fell through but a new buyer was found within 24 hours. Good communication throughout.

Terrible service, made an offer on a house, didnt hear anything back for 3 weeks and then out of the blue i had a voice mail saying seller was looking for 15k extra.
That would make it the most expensive house on that street by £50k with no garden.

They have no idea what the housing market is like in peterborough

You won’t go wrong using Sharman & Quinney, I especially want to say a massive thank you to Kelly Kan who supported us throughout the selling process. We moved in November 2023 and definitely couldn’t have done this without the help of Kelly who supported us all the way through nothing was never to much trouble for her she was always on the end of the phone when you needed her help. A very big thank you Kelly I hope we wasn’t to much of a pain.

Terrible my landlord sold his property and a new landlord bought it and Sharman quinney manage it. Since they took over I have had no ends of problems I waited in all morning to be told I had the wrong date when I told them I was off today. Arranging for contractors to come and they never turn up. Couldn’t organise a piss up in brewery. Nothing but trouble since they took over 4 weeks ago! 😩
