Just returned from six nights over New Year at this Grade II listed large farmhouse. Without exaggeration it ‘ticked all the boxes’ for us, our three adult children, their partners plus two toddlers and Todd the dog. Comfortable, well appointed and equipped for all our requirements, warm - despite being large - and cosy. The swimming pool a considerable bonus which was much enjoyed. The large gardens can be accessed for short walks and, if longer jaunts are required, the house is located on the edge of the vast acreages of Harlow Common. There are two very good local pubs - one a fifteen minute walk, the other just five minutes drive away. We would be happy to spend more time at Kitchen Hall Farmhouse.

Took my parents here for the weekend and they loved it!

We live in London so was the perfect weekend get away to cure our seasonal depression. Host was extremely well responsive and best for last was the pool!

The pool was amazing and fun for the whole family - really feels cosy and it’s so big!

We had a wonderful weekend at Kitchen Farm. We were 7 adults, 3 children and a dog and everything we could want was catered for so we didn’t even leave the property all weekend!. The children were kept amused in the fabulous pool, the dog was delighted exploring the large grounds and the adults were happy lounging in the multiple very spacious sitting rooms and outdoor terrace. It’s a large and very comfortable house and actually much bigger than it looks in photos. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook and there is also a large utility room. Loads of fluffy towels including pool towels, lots of bathrooms very comfortable beds, and It’s set in beautiful peaceful grounds. The owners were very responsive to everything and check in and out was very easy and smooth. For large family gatherings that caters to several generations then this house is perfect. It is also exceptionally good value for money. We will be recommending to all our friends and definitely book again!

We had a great family get-together in this huge and historic farmhouse. Located in a green oasis in Harlow, it's a peaceful place with a wonderful garden and fantastic swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of rooms so family members could spend time apart as well as together!

Great place for our family of 8 (plus dog!) Really good sized pool and facilities, kitchen well equipped, space to spread out. Lovely walks nearby, with ponies! Coffee shop about 1.5 miles away.

I have just returned from this lovely (2 bedroomed) cottage set in the most tranquil of locations. It really is a hidden gem perfect for a couple or small family getaway.
From the little windy staircase to the magical little touches dotted all around the authentic cottage decor, I cannot fault my stay here.

The pool area was a huge hit with my 12 year old son who stayed with me.
There were piles and piles of soft fluffy towels varying from ‘pool type’ and extra luxurious towels for ‘bathroom type’. Everything was so carefully thought out from the owners.
The highlight of my stay was watching the wildlife in the morning. We were visited by squirrels and a whole host of birds which must live in the pretty gardens surrounding the cottage. There was also lots of ponies and foals all along the track leading up to the cottage gates.
I will definitely return and stay here again.

A great little getaway- superb accommodation. Nice enclosed (apart from open cattle grid) area. Dogs loved the space to run around. Swimming pool was great fun - little ones enjoyed immensely.
