We moored our Avon SIB here for a week and explored the Thames. What an amazing base to start our adventures. You can go a long way upstream and spend a few hours floating back down, We had a great time,

In April 2022 we were lucky enough to secure a mooring at this extremely well run and secure marina and have been delighted with the service provided by Ian and Jules ever since, their assistance and advice has been invaluable and much appreciated. Excellent communication gives us peace of mind at all times, knowing that our boat is being well and truly looked after. We look forward to spending many more happy years here.

Beautiful place has a lovely river. You can hire boats and kayaks, which is a very nice pub with lovely views, nice day out...with the kids or even to gather your thoughts with a walk...

I emailed to ask about parking the car and launching our kayaks from the marina and got a quick reply from one of the owners (Jules) to confirm. Parking was £5 per car and launching was £5 per boat, which I thought was very reasonable! When you arrive it looks like you are driving into someone's driveway, but you just need to pull up to the keypad in front of the big metal gates and call through to the main office. Jules came over to greet us and pointed us in the direction of the pontoon/slipway and the toilets. The toilets (including showers) typically remain locked so make sure to let the owners know if you'd like to use them!
It was very convenient to park so close to the launch point, I would highly recommend it. The water on the river was incredibly still and calm so it was perfect for trying out our new inflatable kayaks. On our return the other owner (Ian) introduced himself - very friendly people indeed 🙂

Brilliant place for launching a kayak on the Thames. The public slipway in Lechlade is tiny and parking difficult / expensive so we were very happy to find the marina. The owner (Ian) was very welcoming and helpful. There's a new pontoon for access to the river which made loading / unloading very easy. We'll certainly return again next time we're in Lechlade.

Ian and Jules have been incredibly helpful with the arrival of our brand new boat. Having never lived on a boat before we had absolutely no idea what we were doing! They have been invaluable with their information, not only regarding the marina but regarding everything associated with owning and running a boat. Putting us in contact with the relevant people, including a rear axled lorry and crane company to get our boat in the water. They have been so helpful and filled in gaps where the company we purchased the boat from have failed. We have now been on the marina for 2 weeks and are very comfortable in a lovely marina, friendly owners and friendly fellow boaters.
