100% re-visit. The staff here are top class amazing. Everyone seems like they know you already. They're all welcoming, super helpful and friendly. They made the trip.|We asked about the driving range at 22.30 and they kept it open for us to play. The rooms are fresh and clean. Weirdly numbered but we finally found room 25 next to 14. The food was good. Nice surroundings. Evening entertainment. Great for kids. Countryside around is lovely. We didn't go to play golf so I can't comment on the course.

This was our first holiday as a family of four (five if you include the dog!) and was the perfect choice. We stayed in the Heartwood Pet and it's honestly one of the nicest lodges we've ever stayed at, and we've been to quite a few! Everything was immaculate on arrival and the treats for the dog were a lovely touch. It's so spacious so you don't feel like you're falling over each other. The park itself is lovely and peaceful and there are plenty of places for dog walking. We visited the splash pad with our 3.5 year old and he loved it. The play area is also great for young children too. We've stayed at Tattersall lakes before just down the road and I definitely think I prefer this site as it's much smaller and quieter if you're looking to unwind and relax.

We had such a lovely stay at Appletree Holiday Park! The park is peaceful and quiet, with loads of lovely places to walk and a brilliant splash park that’s perfect for little ones.

But what really made our stay so special was the staff. Huge thank you to Kelly, Adam and Susie at reception, who went way above and beyond for me. I arranged for my suitcase to be collected by a courier on the day we left and they were more than happy to help (they even printed and stuck the labels on for me). Unfortunately, the first courier never turned up. Then the second company refused to take it because it didn’t have bubble wrap (even though the team searched everywhere trying to find some). After nearly a week, a third courier finally came to collect it and honestly, I only managed to get it sorted because the staff were so kind and patient throughout.

Also a special thanks to Luke, who kindly put up with my son inspecting his hot tub work each day 🤣

Would 100% recommend - lovely park, great facilities and truly gorgeous people.

such a lovely little caravan site the kids loved it. Rachel was especially helpful, really lovely lady. The splash bit was great for the kids but my little one was a bit scared of it and so were other little ones. One night Rachel set it so they were off and it was a little paddling pool instead and all the kids absolutely loved it! That would be better as a mix with the sprinklers so the under 2s can enjoy a paddle!

Stayed for a long weekend in a lodge with my daughters. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and was spotlessly clean. The little pack with the sponge, tea towel, dishwasher tablet etc was a great little touch.|The hot tub were tended daily, the park is quiet and in a great location. |We had lunch at the on site restaurant which was really good quality and value.|I'd definitely look to come back.|I also want to give a shout out to Brian for excellent pre and post stay contact.

We booked 6 rooms for late June, as early as Feb/Mar so as to be sure. As the date approached, the price paid was not that promised. One room had a toilet not flushing, another had a toilet not working, another had only one towel. There is no-one to greet you at the hotel, you need to walk 200yds to the golf reception. On a busy Saturday swap over day, there was no person of responsibility at the venue so ANY problem was greeted with "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do"!!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH Appletree.

Liked: New, clean fresh facilities. Great restaurant on site. Play area for children was good. Really quite at night and lovely flat pitching areas.

Disliked: Tent pitches are a fair distance from everything. Not a huge issue as we were told camping here is a fairly new thing. So would expect larger facilities and waste areas as the site grows. Breakfast prices were pricey! Opted to drive elsewhere which is a shame as main lunch menu was great with children eating for £1!

A great find for a peaceful weekend away. The lodge was fantastic, and at the side of the lake. A lovely site that is still under development.
Could just do with a few more activities on site. The lighting along the walkways back to the lodges needs to be better too, as it was very dark.
A great site, with great service. The restaurant/bar was good with very good food.
We will absolutely be going back again.
