We've just finished a fabulous afternoon paddling on the river in a Canadian canoe with our 2 young girls. We absolutely loved it. A very friendly welcome and full safety briefing from Neil, he's great with the kids. We highly recommend it for a fun day out.

We had an amazing time on the rowing boat - it was so peaceful and relaxing and the views were gorgeous. Neil is an amazing person - very welcoming, friendly and fun - as first timers we were put at ease. Would highly recommend and definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful stretch of the river, with pubs and good bits to explore. The people we hired a rowing boat from were welcoming, friendly and relaxed, even included a fishing net for our son. Reasonable prices, highly recommended

We had a great time paddling a canoe from Houghton to the lock at Hemingford (which we’d never seen as it’s only accessible by river). Neil was very helpful and gave us great tips which really helped. Saw lots of wildlife. Highly recommend as a fantastic way to spend a few hours.

Fantastic independent business. Neil was lovely to deal with. Brilliant with the kids and made us feel very welcome. Our trip on the river was idyllic filled with wildlife and beautiful views. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Hired a large 3 person canoe from here. Steve was funny , helpful and informative.
Didn't get too far but an hour was just right, lovely and peaceful.
Great value and fun, highly recommended.
