I went to the post office and tried to go in as I still had 10 minutes left and an Eastern European staff (based on the accent) just would not let me go in or would try shove me away. When I tried to show him that I still had 10 minutes left, he turned around and bent over in disrespect and ignorance. Due to me and him arguing when I turned around and started walking to my car he started following me in a faster pace and attempted to almost hit me (raised his hand to hit me) luckily I got in the car in time and he hit my window to get my attention. I have never been this disrespected in my life.

Rubbish people work there, in special the lady with a short hair that is always rude and arrogant and lazy. No matter what time of the day you go, she never can take the parcels because she is always full, even for a small letter sizes parcels. Disgusting. Will complain to Royal mail direct

As it's my local post office and my wife started a small business, I visit it quite often.
Today there was a long queue and one of the people in the queue was told that the parcel, unfortunately was too big to take and he started to shout. The lady behind the counter handed it perfectly.
The only downside is that there is only one lady that is constantly busy, so the queue can build up quite fast.
Recommend!

Yesterday I went to post a packet of light snacks for my daughter in Uni. Knowing that the PO is a one shop stop where u get everything u need to post your staff all under one roof, I spoke to the ladies over the counter. I explained to one of them, who appeared very disinterested after staring at my package, that I wanted to post the snacks, and am looking for an envelop or box or whatever it is that I can put the snacks into for posting. She replied, "The PO doesn't sell any anvelopes, boxes or bubble envilope, we only do the posting" . I loved at her with disbelief , so sure that I can get the right posting packaging in here, and her partner looked at me and said the same thing that the PO do not sell posting packages. I was shocked and thanked them and started to leave. As I was just about to leave the counter, one kind customer talking to the other female staff member, stopped me and said,"Love, the posting packages are all here on the shop floor. She kindly left what she was posting and came to show me the shelf which had envelopes, wrappers and bubble envelopes. She even suggested me to use the wrapper. The shelf was less than a meter from the PO counters.
I was so greateful for her help as I was about to leave, a confused sad customer! It only took a kind citizen to show me where the shelf was for packaging posting materials which was less than a meter from the PO counters on the shop floor. She explained that I need to pick what I want, go and pay at the counter on the shop floor and them come back to post.
I purchased my packaging staff, wrapped the snacks and came back to the counter to the other lady who showed no empathy or kindness at all.
I'm appalled at Grovehil PO services. Why not leave the job if you find yourself not wanting to help and serve customers. I am also a key worker in the front office of Health and Social care. I am there to support or signpost people if I can't help them directly. What does it take for the two females to just tell me kindly that , the packaging staff for posting are on the shop floor, and not in the PO, but for me to go and buy, wrap up and come back to the counter for posting?
This is pathetic customer service. Where are the two female staff member's compassion, kindness and caring as members who work with the public?
Why does it take another customer to direct and signpost customers , when those two are siting on their backside?
I'm so appalled with the customer care that these are two women displayed and I hate to be associated with Grovehill PO for such bad customer care. I live in Grovehill and we need to show citizens that we are the best in town when it comes to serving them.
I believe this will be addressed by the Post Master.
Thank you.

The timings are incorrect. Amazon app returns of “no box needed” won’t be accepted most of the time but Royal Mail pre-packed option would be ok.
Prior to 9a and after 5p, there is a board always stating “no trained post office staff”. Don’t go by timing on Google as 6a to 10p. It would be a wasted trip.

I had a card posted through my letterbox to say that a parcel could not be delivered and that the parcel was left at this post office for collection. I went to pick it up and I was served by a very rude woman. She said she didn't know where the parcel was and "what in it ", whose name is on it etc. I couldn't tell her any of this information as there was no name on the card just our address, so I had brought my own and my husbands passport for ID, she really wasn't happy that she had to get off her backside and actually look. She was still moaning that it would help if I could tell her something. All the information I had was what was on the card. It ended up it was just under her counter and "oh it's a big one" was all I was told. I signed for it and left. She was the most miserable rude person to have a job customer facing. She shouldn't be there.
