Unfortunately-dreadful...It's just a drugged up Hemel junkie place...

It was so loud, the dude next door was up until 2am shouting and doing God knows what ,room was stinking of weed, beds for midgets and I ain't even 5"6 just about to stretch my legs...Didn't feel safe at all

Stayed at guest house......Ali the main manager was very polite and helpful with anything I needed. Checked in on me my first night to introduce himself as he wasn't on duty when I arrived.

Betty and Michelle who cooked breakfast were both lovely and cheerful. Gave me information about the town centre and were happy to be asked anything I wanted to know.

Rooms very clean and bright.

Thankyou for making mine and my sons stay a nice environment.

Me and my partner have experienced a lovely two weeks at this guest house it has everything you need and Elaine many thanks to you for the lovely hospitality. Located near the town center with beautiful cenery along the way. Feel totally refreshing after the stay. For those not happy sorry but you get what you pay for and more here we will be returning. Agree needed to add on new bathroom only because colored but clean and tidy all around and a peace full night. Thanks

Pat and Vincent were very accommodating and nothing was too much hassle for us during our two-night stay at AlexandraGuestHouse. The room was beautifully furnished and spacious, with very comfortable beds and a mini-fridge stocked with fresh milk and cookies. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of cereals, fresh fruit, and cooked options, as well as a generous portion. I would highly recommend this hotel and will return.

We were lucky they had a room as our other hotel had over booked and we would have ended up sleeping in the car. Lovely staff but no parking available so we had to move car very early and room in the attic. No facilities, lamps didn't work, holes in walls, not a great place but it was very clean and we were grateful.

Excellent good value accommodation, this is not really a hotel and it does not claim to be. I am not sure if it is a guest house either because as far as I could see the owner does not live in the building . I stayed in an attic room ( £40 night); very very small, and I would advise checking the dimensions of any room before booking. But the room itself was clean and pleasant. I have to commend Anita who expertly cooked breakfast; she showed a professionalism that was a credit to this establishment. Also, Kirsty, the manager, was delightful. If you are prepared to pay more for a hotel, you would no doubt get access to a bar, a proper seating area to relax and possible even room service. But as I say this is not that type of place. It is ideally situated near to the Old Town. There is a microwave and a fridge in the dining room for the use of guests. The stairs are steep so do bear that in mind when you choose your room.||To summarise, I recommend without hesitation if you are looking for simple clean accommodation at a reasonable price.

Little difficult to find at first but got there in the end. Hotel has about 6 parking spaces on the forecourt, but there is a car park a very short distance down the road.
Warm welcome by the Aussie girl (sorry forgot name). Room was clean and tidy. Plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area. Shower / toilet area a little small but manageable. Brekfast looked great (fresh full English) and there were other options. Fridge, fan, kettle and microwave in my room. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again if I'm in the area.

I was looking for a cheap place to stay just North London and was a little nervous about what I would find having paid very little for a small single. The room was indeed very small but was clean with plenty of sockets and had a ensuite pod, with toilet shower and sink in. Staff were very friendly and cooked breakfast was included in an absolute bargain price. Of course things were not perfect but no significant complaints.
