Giving 4stars because of this beautiful area full of beauty. Quick access to Leeds by Northern Railway. Station wasn’t bad but need to update bit more.anyhow good to have train service for this lil cute town.

A very British station set in beautiful green soundings. The ticket office is open and staffed often. There are free toilets and a place you can buy refreshments and sit down. There is a underground tunnel connecting both sides of the platform. There are no gates in this country station.

Being on a main west-east line, plenty of destinations can be easily reached. Station is a typical Victorian faded building needing some investment. The Victorian signage is kept painted and plenty of information available. A short walk into town; best done through the park then along the canal side.

What a lovely, quaint train station set back in time !
If only everyone respects the station and l would be happy to chuck in loose change if you has a charity box for the station's upkeep.
Nice little town as well !
