Awesome place to park and enjoy the views as well as the area is great few steps away to have some social life. It’s incredible at evening time in fairytale atmosphere.

I am both pleased and privileged to call it my home - a little community of 14 boats straddling Mayroyd lock #8 with a few shoreside facilities and plenty of space for a bit of gardening. Definitely one of the most photographed spots in Hebden for the colours and eclectic mix of boats.

What an absolutely fantastic place had the most amazing time. The staff very helpful and patient it had everything scenery, the pubs, the people we met along the way, would definitely recommend and would do it again bucket list tick 😂😊🤔😀👌

Lovely walk along the canal to the marina. There is always something to see and though not all of the moorings are kept well, it is still a nice place to visit.
