Fantastic place for a lovely walk. It is so vast you could do a different route in a different direction every time! Solid paths most of the time and lots to see. Plenty of things for the kids (of all ages) to play on and see also.

Our community had a lovely picnic at Stanwick Lakes. Thanks to Ian who had arranged everything for us at site. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Beautiful place to visit for a day out. Children enjoyed their time at play zone. BBQ Area was packed with our people. We had a great day with games, dancing, bingo and food. We were nearly 200 people there.

First time visiting this lovely place, plenty of different wildlife to see around the lakes and the path ways are very accessible. I would have voted 5 star but the parking situation was a free for all. Folk parking anywhere and everywhere. It took me a good 15 minutes to find somewhere to park.
I definitely will come back in the future with more planning around the parking situation.

It's a lovely place to visit and grab a bite to eat on the cafés decked area overlooking one of the lakes. It's dog friendly as long as they are on a lead, they sit next to you at your table and don't bark. The parking is APNR, so you pay for the parking at the car park pay station before you LEAVE. The scenery and abundance of wildlife is a total joy to behold. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, is because dogs are supposed to be on leads around the lake walking trails, and unfortunately we encountered a number of dogs off lead, which is a shame because there's enough signs asking people to have them on leads and fines for not doing so. It's annoying for me also, as I have a reactive dog, and having to deal with off lead dogs coming up to my dog when I shouldn't have too is frustrating.

Excellent for all the family. Has disabled toilet for all ages including shower for adults. Plenty of play areas away from the lakes. Large wooden castle and sand pits with a small running river. Lots of walking treks aswell. Was on organised Little miracles SEN trip very suitable.

Cheap parking for the day, beautiful setting, huge playpark, wonderful play equipment, sand and water play for the kids. Adventure trail has playparks as you walk around. Cheap to hire bikes and cycle too. Toilets on site and plenty of food/ice cream choices with seating and reasonably priced. Beautiful tranquil setting. Lovely day trip with a picnic and some sunshine ?

Wonderful place for Family and Kids. play area is big and has some sand to play for kids. And it's good track for walk and some interesting places to see. One day activity. only Parking charge and no entry fees

I participated in a craft course and had a fabulous day - lakes were beautiful, course was amazing and great fun and easy to get to from Leicester ... Will definitely be back...
