Walk round to stretch the legs at lunch! Decent hot sausage roll, toilets handy, bird seed available to buy which is nice for feeding the swans. Different routes and paths to choose. Ample parking and pay cash or card/app. Decent walk. Rained but still enjoyed it!

Good running paths with nice views. One loop is approximately 4-5km. Can get quite busy. Car park is fee paying and Apple Pay doesn’t work so need physical card or the paybyphone app. It is possible to park for free on nearby side roads.

Called in here on our way home south and so glad we did. What a lovely place to visit. Easy to park, nice cafe and super walk all round the lake/ reservoir. We saw so many different birds including lots of geese.

Easily found off of the main road with large brown signs.
The car park cost is £2.20 all day. No other options for cheaper payment, it's a flat rate.
Also the car park is cash only !!!! A bit weird, and very old fashioned, but make sure you have the correct change.
There is a path all the way around.
This path is easy walking, and would be OK for buggies and bikes going SLOWLY.
Dogs allowed, and allowed off lead.
A few fields and meadows just off of the main path if you wish to venture off for a walk or picnic.
There is a cafe available, and some toilets.
If you wish to visit these turn left from the car park on the main path.
Turning right you can follow the path all the way around but the cafe will be at the end of the walk.
The signs for the circular walk are easy to follow around the lake.
It took us around 55 minutes to walk all the way around.
Small children's play area by the car park.
The lake is currently very low due to the hot summer. ( Sept 2022 ).
A great place to visit, and not too busy either. ( pictures taken on a Sunday afternoon )

Lovely park. Large play area which is particularly good for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Lots of safe, accessible utilities. The area is beautiful for walks and feeding the ducks. Small cafe with OK food, staff are a bit grumpy. But nice coffee. Would benefit from some real ice cream rather than the cheap stuff and lollies. Toilets not maintained very clean. Parking ticket machines never working properly
