Huge thanks to the whole team at Northwood Cardiff for making our rental experience so smooth and pleasant. From start to finish, everything was well-organised, clear, and handled with real care.

Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional, and we always felt supported throughout the whole process — from viewings to signing the agreement and getting the keys.

A special thank you to Jodie, who was especially kind and helpful along the way. She was always quick to respond, explained everything clearly, and made sure we were looked after.

We’re really grateful for the support and would definitely recommend Northwood Cardiff to anyone looking to rent in the area.

Avoid this agency at all costs. This has been the most frustrating, stressful, and infuriating experience I’ve ever had with a letting agency. From the start, their behaviour was riddled with red flags.

They blatantly misrepresented the flat in their listing outdated photos, incorrect details, and when I viewed the place, it was in nowhere near the condition advertised. Despite raising concerns, they were dismissive, patronizing, and completely unhelpful.

Once I moved in, the real nightmare began. Maintenance issues went ignored for weeks. Repeated emails and phone calls were either met with empty promises or completely ignored. They seem to have mastered the art of ghosting tenants as soon as the deposit clears.

Speaking of deposits good luck getting yours back. Mine was subjected to utterly fabricated charges. When I requested evidence or a breakdown, I was met with vague replies and aggressive pushback. It’s clear they rely on tenants not fighting back to pocket as much as possible.

Their staff are untrained, unprofessional, and in some cases outright rude. Communication is inconsistent, and any attempt to escalate concerns is stonewalled. It honestly feels like a scam operation hiding behind a thin veil of legitimacy.

I wouldn’t recommend this agency to my worst enemy. If you’re reading this, save yourself the trouble and run — there are far more honest and competent agencies out there.

Northwood were brilliant throughout our entire sale process, starting with how the house was advertised so well (leading to a very quick sale) and then throughout the remainder of the process.

The sales progressor was fantastic, keeping in regular contact with us and the rest of our chain to ensure any issues or snags were dealt with quickly. Always available, helpful and reassuring!

From my first meeting with the Northwood team to the last I had noted that this is a team that operates well, they are very polite, very helpful, and more importantly thorough with their work.
The house that I viewed, with Carys Lock (Sales Negotiator) leading me around, was the house I knew I wanted. Carys had an answer for every question I asked, she was well mannered and professional with a nice touch of humour.
I liked and wanted the house, put in an offer of the asking price, eventually had to up it above that and Carys helped and advised me through that stressful few days of negotiations.
