We chose The Wee Food Tour to celebrate the 60th birthday of one of our friends and it was fantastic! Maddy was an excellent guide, making the day extra special with many personal touches for the birthday boy. Maddy’s knowledge of Scotland and Glasgows history, people and food was wonderful. Her passion and enthusiasm shone through.
Each experience on the tour was different and gave a real reflection of Scottish food. Getting to travel across the city on a beautifully sunny day and treated so many wonderful dishes and food was very special.
We would not hesitate to recommend Maddy and her wonderful tour. Five stars ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wee Food Tour was a wonderful experience!! Our guide, Maddy, was full of information about food, culture, politics -- life in Glasgow in general! She took us on a brilliant walking tour to small independent eateries that we never would have discovered. The experience was intimate, informed and informative (who knew that "tatties" are potatoes and "neeps" are turnips?) Haggis at The Ubiquitous Chip made of venison, seasoned wonderfully, were truly divine! Highly encourage you to book with this fantastic lady!

If you do nothing else in Glasgow, do this tour! Madeline was so well versed in all things Glasgow, history, food, and especially art. It was a special in-depth treat to spend the afternoon with her. We knew we were in for a special treat when she took us off the beaten path and handed us a train ticket! Why see touristy areas, when you can eat and see all the beautiful things of Glasgow. We had picky teenagers with us, and Madeline was quick to pivot and accommodate their diversion to all things seafood and haggis (there was even a vegetarian version to try!). We appreciated this day so much, and I believe she even sparked the desire to attend Glasgow university with our teenager and wealth of art, history, and social information of this area. Thank you!

What a great way to learn more about Glasgow while sampling local food. Maddy knew her stuff and we visited six different restaurants / shops in the centre, West End and East End of Glasgow. This was my first city food tour, and I will definitely do this when visiting other cities.

Maddie was an amazing tour guide, and this was an amazingly delicious selection of restaurants! People joked that all Glasgow would have is fried food - and we did get that at the end, but the other stops were so delicious and well chosen. We got to see a few different parts of the city as we travelled to these gem eateries, via subway and taxi, with great history and local knowledge added along the way. Still have a few candies left from Glickman’s! The correspondence afterward too - recipe for the delicious stew at the start of the tour, and a listing of all the places visited - Was a really nice touch to remind us of where we’d been. Wish I had taken more photos of the food! And Maddie herself was lovely. Highly recommend this tour!!

We went on the Wee Food Tour in September with Madeline. We love doing food tours when we visit different cities and countries so we can get to try some of the places we would never think to visit and the Wee Food Tour definitely did not disappoint!! You could definitely sense her passion for food and the city coming through. There wasn't a place that we visited that we didn't thoroughly enjoy. The conversation along the way was most enjoyable as well. Strongly recommend this tour if you have a few hours to fit it in 🙂

We had an excellent food tour with Maddy today! The tour was filled with tasty food, history, and great conversation from a guide who is clearly passionate about Glasgow. It felt less like a tourist activity and more like we were traveling around the city with a friend who knows all the best locally owned spots to stop at. Highly recommend this tour if you have a few hours in Glasgow!

Maddie made this tour so much fun and informative! The venues were located in different neighborhoods, each representing an aspect of Glasgow history (we walked but also took the subway and a taxi at no extra cost.) The dishes were typical and delicious and we were able to talk with some of the merchants. I highly recommend this tour!
