This place exceeded expectation. I booked a weekend in a caravan with the family, when I tried to get more information on the site I could not get much so I went on google street, let me just say please don’t be put off, Google shows pictures from 10 years ago. Communication with staff was amazing, you get everything you need pretty much before you even get there as it is self check in, the site is well kept and is in an Amazing location, 10 out of 10 value for money. I would highly recommended for a relaxed holiday. More pictures of the site could help potential visitors.

Limited space got tourers, but a wonderful site with easy access to a clean beach. The receptionist wasn’t at all helpful and forgot the usual information. We will use again simple for the beach.

A bit neglected, pitches very small, no one on site to ask for help with anything, phone number of sister site never answered, toilet block very run down and shabby. Mostly static units on site so tourers not well catered for, very few facilities. It is close to the beach and harbour which was lovely, nice cafe/bistro in the town, daily bus service to Elgin and other places.

Fantastic stay in a rental caravan here, spotlessly clean and warm and perfect location for exploring the area! Loved the quiet beaches and the beautiful woods! Have already re-booked for next year 🙂

It was an extremely unpleasant experience; we reserved a gold caravan in Burghead. There were no activities available in the park. We had to drive nearly 7 miles to access swimming facilities and other activities. Online booking was not an option, and we were required to arrive at 8:30 in the morning to secure a swimming slot. The caravan we received was in poor condition. The lock on the main bathroom door was malfunctioning, the hinges on the furniture were broken, and when we called for repairs, one engineer stated that he would obtain the necessary parts and that someone would come to fix them in the evening. However, no one arrived that evening.

Definitely aimed more at tourers and statics, if you do bring a tent make sure to bring plenty of pegs as it does get very windy.
We still enjoyed our stay and the highlight was you are a 2 minute walk away for the beach ⛱️

Superb location alongside the Moray coast
With all the usual amenities.
The caravan site is next door to a lovely wood which runs right around the coast.
Burghead is a lovely village with a good cafe The Bothy in the main street and several pubs as well as a working harbour and a good museum about Pictish life here.

Stayed camping. Small but facilities and ablutions spotless. Town small but interesting and good to walk arround. Good pizza restaurant in town - The Brothy Bistro, with fantastic pizzas and also local beers on tap.
