Visited today and would highly recommend!! The animals were well kept from what I could see and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend feeding the parrots and visiting all the bugs and animals in the nocturnal house. Only negatives were the prices of food and drinks, spent £2.50 on a very small cup of tea. Soft play was lovely and clean and well managed by staff. The park was easy to navigate thanks to maps dotted around. Plenty of benches for picnics and a sheltered picnic area!

Had a wonderful time, was pleasantly surprised how wheelchair accessible the park was! (though the lift to the sloths was broken on my visit)
They have talks about the different animals at set times through the days, the staff are helpful and informative too! I can’t wait until my next visit.
I’ve heard weekends are busy as are the school holidays so during those times I’d recommend booking a ticket in advance.

Really enjoyed it here. I think we got lucky as we saw all the animals that day. Sometimes they are hidden away but on our trip they all came out to see us! The reptile enclosure was very well put together. The giraffes were hilarious. Head butting each other and being a bit frisky. The baboons were fascinating and the wife really liked the moon bears. Unfortunately we didn't get to go in the bird and butterfly enclosure as it shuts early. 3pm I believe? Other than that a great day out. We were lucky that there weren't many kids there that day so it was relaxing watching the animals without being disturbed. Lots of ample parking and a cafe selling some tasty coffee and cakes.

What a fantastic zoo, there's a good selection of animals who all looked happy and healthy. They were also all really easy to view, no matter your age or where they were in the enclosure. It's a great size of zoo especially for younger kids, it's also nice and flat and there is loads for them to do. There are three play parks for varying age groups and other activities depending on when you go. My three year old had a great day, we took a picnic so I can't comment on the food but the Kelly's ice creams were nice! Will definitely be going again.

A well kept park with so many animals to see and additional areas for kids to just play. Although there is information about each of the animals it was easy to miss and sometimes you had to good looking for it. Could do with having the repeated boards along the enclosures. It was much the same for the maps they have dotted around and some of the animal signposts are incorrect (e.g. giraffes, orangutans). That said, this is a brilliant day out, highly recommended and if I lived local, would get an annual pass.

Absolutely love this zoo, have been coming for years and have seen it improve year after year. Wonderful place for kids as they have excellent play areas as well. All the talks they give are so informative and help you learn more about each animal. I will always recommend this zoo to anyone asking for places to visit.

As always we had a great day out at wingham. Plenty of animals to see (it was a decent sunny, but chilly day) even if some of them were inside their indoor viewing area, again weather dependent.
Particular highlight of the day was feeding the lorikeets, £2 per pot of nectar and the kids loved it as the beautiful birds came to rest on them and feed.
We always take our own packed lunch as there is plenty of outdoor seating available, but there is a restaurant by the entrance/exit, a hot food place inside the indoor play area, and another smaller cafe to the back of the park near the lions. The newer revamped outdoor play area was a great, looks nice and fresh. The dinosaur enclosure is starting to show its age now, and has been for a while, the dinos are starting to look a little tired.

This is a great day out in Kent, and seems to be expanding all the time. Highly recomend
