12 of us stayed at Hill Farm, taking over 3 cottages, it was simply perfect, great location, lovely accommodation and well equipped with all the necessities. We booked a personal chef for one of the evenings and the space in the Diary was perfect for a special occasion.

Another truly fabulous stay at Hill Farm Holiday Cottages, we have been coming up to Beckhole for over two decades and have stayed at Hill Farm countless times, with and without our children and with and without dogs. What is wonderful about Hill Farm Holiday Cottages is that you can walk right out onto the moor without having to drive anywhere and do many circular walks to Goathland, Beckhole and Grosmont. The Cottages have everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay and you are near the steam train line with wonderful views of the line near to the cottages. A short walk into Beckhole and you have the smallest pub in the UK which is wonderful. It's an amazing area made even more fabulous because of the wonderful cottages on offer to make your holiday complete.

Great cottage overlooking a wooded valley. Lovely views from the hot tub. Ideally placed to explore the North York Moors. Goathland railway station is just down the road. Yorkshires smallest pub with a lovely beer garden next to a river is 10 minutes walk away.

Truly amazing place.
The lodge was so comfortable, warm and inviting. It had everything you needed including the most comfortable beds and luxurious linen. Modern living with magnificent views from every window. Highly recommended for everyone to enjoy quality time making memories at a magical place. Thanks to Chris, Diane and her team for making us welcome. Can't wait till next time Xx

Fantastic week again at hill farm. We stayed in vale view cottage, just a perfect size for two. Hot tub was amazing. The walks and the local areas are great. Chris and diane are fantastic. They always make us feel welcome. We've booked again for next year, the 4th year running.

Fab week was had at the Dairy. After a lovely welcome from Diane who showed us around the cottage but then we were left alone. Loved the size of the cottage. There was seven of us and a dog ranging from 2 years old to 56 years old but we never felt on top of each other. My oldest son loved to escape into the games room and me and hubby loved escaped in to the hot tub after a day walking the moors or visiting the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Great space around the table for us all to eat. Lovely warm cottage (to my son-in-laws disappointment, he want to light the log fire but the cottage was so nice and cozy it was not needed) plenty of seating in the living room to watch a movie.
The location of the cottage is great for walking. We walked to Grosmont and Goathland stations which meant we could leave the car at home. Loved running down the hill to the bridge to watch the steam trains go past. Only 22 minute drive into Whitby so hand for sightseeing and any food shopping but did notice Asda do food delivery's to cottage so next time will book a slot ahead.

This was our first visit to Hill Farm Cottages and stayed in the Dairy. It is situated in a beautiful place with lovely views across the valley.
The dairy was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, especially the hot tub that was wonderful to relax in after a long day walking. It is a very peaceful place, And every now and again you could hear the sound of the steam train passing by.
We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends, And hopefully we’ll return for another stay next year!
