Quintessential old English rural station still performing its original task of allowing a handful of people access to the railway. Lovely little station, located right next to the wonderful Wetheral Viaduct, which offers stunning views out over the River Eden. Just outside of the station are stairs down to the public footpath down the riverbank which affords even more beautiful views.
