We had a lovely weekend away with a large group of people. The Lady of the Twizzle is really well suited for entertaining. It has a spa pool, BBQ, and stunning views. The beds are super comfortable! I would love to come back again next year!

We booked here for our Christmas club break. TBH I didn't check the details and I was expecting a narrowboat, but OMG how lovely is this place!
The boat/ship sleeps 11 I think, with nicer showers and toilets than I have at home.

The host explained the history of the boat/ship (it was an old WW2 ammunition barge that has been renovated over the past 10+ years). The furnishing and decor are top nouch throughout and the facilities are like being in a 2nd (posh) home.

There is a top deck for sitting outside in the summer evenings with a pizza oven and a guy to do pizzas if you want it. I was speaking to the host and he said that they can also arrange for other food if needed.

They have an outside hot tub that 3 of us tried out, but it wasn't for me.. too cold in December.

I understand that The Lady is also rented out for corporate events, and they do longer weekends if needed

Great place, to spend a lovely weekend with friends and or family. Sleeps 14 people, luxurious and modern. Very quiet area, great walks and near the sea.
