The Red Beach Hut - Walton on the Naze

Lovely beach hut but it was really far away from the actual beach - good view of sea but not really easy to access with a pram as lots of steps. Thos is not fault of owners so don’t let it put you off but probably not the best place to come with small children expecting a day at the beach!
Facilities were good and it was clean and lots of bits to do. We did enjoy our day though.

What a perfect day we had. Upon opening up gorgeous red Maple beach hut we were welcomed by a homely interior with books, flowers, comfortable red benches that extend to a bed if required, a changing area and even a little stove. Kettle straight on we then got out the loungers with high backs and super comfy cushions, plenty of room outside the hut for them. There’s also chairs to take to the beach and some toys.
We had lunch looking out at the sea around the extendable table, plates, cutlery, mugs, glasses, everything is there for you.
Thank you little red beach hut for a perfect day, we will be back 🥰

We had the best day at Maple beach hut! Our granddaughters absolutely loved it and we were very comfortable there with everything we needed. Much thought has been given by Kim to all the little details to ensure a comfortable day. We popped in the perspex window, got the kettle on and cooked up some bacon rolls …. perfect! We will be back. Thanks Kim. 👏🏻

This was a lovely well-equipped and beautifully decorated hut. We mostly just used it for taking rests during the day so the pull out day bed was great for that. Kim kept on contact during the day and was very easy to get along with. Only thing I'd point out is that to access the top locks on the outside of the beach hut and to lift the shutters/perspex window and gas canister you need someone a bit taller and stronger than me (I'm 5'2, but would have struggled without my husband there!) They have provided a step stool inside though. We will be coming again!

We had the most amazing sunny January day enjoying the Red Beach Hut for a birthday celebration. The hut was stunning and had everything we could have possibly needed and more.
The stove was excellent to make breakfast and my teenage children enjoyed the games and books. The blankets and hot water bottle were a thoughtful touch for this time of year, however, the weather was so kind to us it was perfectly comfortable. The tea and coffee being present in the hut was a real treat, and it was exceptionally clean and tidy. We opened the hatch and popped in the Perspex window following the simple instructions for the perfect view. It kept the hut warm and snug. We were close to all amenities required including the loos, water tap and the children enjoyed popping to the pier for the 2p machines. We had stunning sun set walks along the beach. Kim couldn’t have been more accommodating making sure we arrived safe and we could contact her if we had an issues. We will defiantly be returning again. We had a wonderful time.

Booked a days hire as we were visiting the area to celebrate husbands birthday . From start to finish Kim was amazing, she ordered an afternoon tea to be waiting for us as arranged but also hung bunting and left a birthday card for my husband. Beach hut is lovely , has everything you would need for the day. Kim even checked in with us that we had got in OK and that everything was OK. We had a lovely peaceful chilled day just the two of us. Thankyou Kim for all your help , we really appreciate everything!

Amazing little hut, just perfect to make a beach day last with little ones. It has everything you could think of and was spotless. Great communication as well, a lovely way to spend the weekend. Plus the beach was lovely and very child friendly. We'll be back x

We had a truly magical experience at the red beach hut on a warm Thursday evening. Kim has thought of every detail, the hut being equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. The children had the best time flying their kites on the beach against the evening breeze and although we didn’t have time to walk along the pier, having the amusements so close by is great for kids.

We all thoroughly enjoyed soaking up the wonderful vistas whilst enjoying a ‘home’ cooked dinner at the hut and left with our hearts and tummies full!

Thank you Kim for your warm hospitality. We’ve made some fabulous memories and will be back soon.
