Just finished a 5 night camp here with my Scout troop of 26 young people. The site and the staff have been absolutely fantastic from booking through to delivery of activities and supporting us during our stay.
The site has everything you could ask for, clean and ample washing facilities, challenging and varied activity’s run by professional and considerate instructors who took the time to get to know our scouts during our visit making their experience all the more positive.
Scouts were encouraged to push their limits on activities and all achieved more than they expected.
The staff were always available to support us and we felt nothing was too much trouble for them, despite staying here during a very busy time for them.
In summary I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming activity centre and I very much hope to return in the future. Thanks Walton Firs!

My 8 year old son just returned from a day camp in the school holidays.
He had an amazing time and came back exhausted from an action packed day of outdoor activities.
The staff were great fun, friendly and informative, well worth the £40 fee for anyone who loves the outdoors!
Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a holiday camp to send the kids to when you have to work!

My Cubs have just had a great weekend at Walton Firs! We stayed in Pembroke, which had bunk beds and a well appointed kitchen. The activities were great, especially the crate stacking and above ground caving. The Cubs also enjoyed the nightline and the tree trail. The site is huge and there are lots of little corners to explore, space to play games and huge amounts of room for the children to just enjoy the great outdoors.

Spent a week here for our annual Scout summer camp and it was excellent. We did a variety of activities and all the staff were super helpful, accommodating and great with the kids. Would recommend and we will be coming back.

Walton Firs Pod Villages are a great experience and nice start to the Cubs camping year. We go in March for 1 Night and it helps with new Cubs who are bit unsure of camping. The site is lovely and the staff there very accomodating, experienced and friendly. See you again next year 🤞⛺️ 1st Goldsworth Park Cub Pack - Akela & Raksha.

All Pod villages and buildings on the site were booked. 150+ in attendance for our event. Could not fault the team at Walton Firs. Special shout out to Richard who was available 24/7 and went above and beyond at every request! Great experience had by all and our group have asked us to book this venue every year! Thank you Walton Firs, an experience never to be forgotten was had by all and the facilities were excellent!

Overnight trip for two dozen adults. While many other groups across the property were children, we had an excellent time in the pods at Trail's End Camp. The pods are temperature controlled, making for a cozy glamping experience. We recommend bringing your own firewood and arriving before dark so you can get the lay of the land. The staff at Walton Firs were very kind, stress-free, and hands-off. Our group participated in the low ropes and high ropes course, which was led by great staff members. The caterer we worked with was prompt and the food was great. Would recommend.

Spent a magical and exciting day with my church group of 8-11year olds here today. The activities were first class , the instructors were really great in every way, the provision of an outdoor classroom for us was perfect, and the staff were so helpful. The kids loved every moment and would come again tomorrow in a heartbeat. Thank you to all at Walton Firs. Its been my first trip here for several years and its as good as ever!
