I had a quick walk around here yesterday, only about an hour if that but it seems really cool n I definitely wanna come bk n do it properly, there is a good selection of places to eat/drink and shop. I did try a geordie banger which was delicious 😆 looks like there are plenty fun activities n stuff to do too. Think it's suitable for pretty much anyone. Nice for a day out with a friend or a partner n wud imagine its a decent family day out too.

Cracking good Sunday market with 30 or more stalls. Varied products great to browse and good fish and chips next door. Makes a lovely Sunday outing. We even got very fresh fish to take home for supper. Can't beat it.

Only had a short stop but there was loads of parking in the public car park. The tide was out so there was lots of birds out on the banks. Did a short walk to the marina then round and back to the car park.

Gorgeous quaint marina and village.
Amble market was on and there was a fantastic array for goods on sale on the stalls.
There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars around. Some wanted prior booking to arrival.
Lots of pods selling wares from ice cream to cheeses to beach related goods.
Well worth a visit that's for sure 👍👍

I visited to install specialist equipment on a boat. The staff were helpful and great to deal with. The Marina is in a lovely location. If I lived nearer I would happily bring my boat here.

A lovely place to wander. The hut shops are lovely, well worth trying the cheese shop - try the Doddingtons (not many places stock it and it's seriously good).
All feels covid safe, from the fish shop to the gosh and chip take out shops.
Locals are friendly.

Lovely to have a sit down and just watch the world go by, after having had a walk in the town,around the harbour village and then to the marina.
